sorry ya mods, i dont know which area i should ask this...

1) i use facebook apps in my phone...i enable notifications..and push notifications for facebook too. But when someone commented on my wall, my phone does not show alert..i need to manually go into the apps and refresh my notifications..is it behaving normally?..or i should get some notification on my phone?

2) WLM on my phone does not alert me when there is someone msg me..only when i go in the apps again, i get the nudges/alerts..why ah?..i got enable notification in my settings too...

sorry la..i really new to this...dont know about its normal behavior...

guys...can i keep on connect my phone via usb..while working coz i use it for ipod...keep chargin like tat will harm my phone?

eh guys...i got a question regarding ipod in iphone 4...recently i imported a few music album into it..i have inserted the album art manually which i found in google image...

now i got a prob...in ipod in landscape view (album art browser) i saw all the album arts displayed nicely...but when playing, some shows up..some not...

is there any specific size for the album art to be ?..like 300x300?...because i downloaded several different sizes..

and how to put lyrics into the songs?..or make the ipod download lyrics by itself...

ok...understand already...now i feel my phone abit problem..feel corrupt...anyway can i have a completely clean installation of the IOS 4.2??..i need to know how?..i google, there are too many ways of doing it...mostly i saw is restore...how does the restore work?..and some i saw got the option for new/clean installation..any good guide for me to follow?

for my understanding now..i feel i should do like this...in phone > settings>general>reset>erase all content and settings

then do this steps:
1. Make sure the iPhone is not connected to the computer.
2. Close the iTunes application and re-open it again.
3. Plug the usb bit to the computer
4. Hold the "home" button of the iphone
5. Now plug the dock connector bit to your iphone (without letting go the home button)
6. Await for further instructions on the screen and then release the "home" button.
7. Hold shift and click restore for Windows users and select the firmware. Hold Alt/Option button and click Restore for Mac users and select the firmware.
i will use this firmware..this


am i right?..just to confirm before i proceed..

haha...i just paranoid...anyway..i done it...just download the firmware, then shift click Restore..then select as a new install..then done...clean ios 4.2.1..later gonna buy fruit ninja and angry bird season....how come is USD 0.99 converted to RM?..and is it save to store my credit card info in itunes?

it only use WIFI..

FACETIME only use WIFI..no telco involve...telco only involve during FACETIME activation which it will send international sms (50sen)..

why my iphone 4 running ios 4.2 sometimes lagging??

eg: when open keylock, after type in codes, it lack awhile then open up menu screen with laggy animation..not always but sometimes...and just now when i play need for speed shift, my friend sms me..the i click Read..the whole screen hang for 5sec..then oni switch to sms...any solution??..

last time i got JB my phone..but i think i do a correct restore/reformat..i download the IOS 4.2 ipsw from FP..then i shift click Restore to restore it..then i started to buy apps..

btw, how to do really clean restore/reformat??...or isit the ios 4.2 really got such issue??

no more JB...i am using official firmware now...i support original..programmer did a hard work..any better way to restore??

i do before la...lol..any other way which can have a really clean install??..i mean total wipe out everything..btw, in IOS 4.1 previous i did not experience such problem...

ok..btw, what does this do??..

hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears, ignoring "Slide to power off"

i saw in Apple Discussion board...it say reboot phone..i notice that when u turn off the phone by holding SLEEP button til slider appear and you slide it to Turn Off, when Turn back On, it does resume from what you do before turn off..meaning, those application which running in background(double click Home to see it) still running when u turn it on..

ya..really just reboot the phone..btw, just now i unlock my phone(slide to unlock), it hang 3 sec before menu comes out.. ..

but then just once...

i do encounter it sometimes..why ah?
