My phone always failed to maintain a persistent connection with the WiFi ever since I got Unifi. Sigh! Tried forgetting network and even resetting the device but it simply doesn't work. Why?

i have a question,

my friend said his 3GS battery has same when standby mode and usage mode. i mean the battery drain is same even he standby mode.

yes you need latest itunes to do datt

If u are running on iOS4.0 > try checking is there any app running on multitasking. It might be the cause. If not then i donno whats wrong cant help you

But from what I know there is some Maxis centres that sell iPhones without contract. But which branch, I have no idea at all. That is from what I heard. Also, I heard that Machines do sell too, I'm not sure about that either. Just some suggestions on places you could try.

search at phone garage sale , there is a lot people selling maxis / digi brand new set , cause they just wanna the plan dont want the phone...i also bought my iphone4 32gb maxis set ( new & sealed ) from one of forummer without subscribe to any plan or contract

hello iphone pro user,,i juast want to ask 1 noob question,,i'm intend to buy a second hand unit iphone 3gs maxis set,,the original owner have alreAdy buy many ori application throught itunes,,so if i buy the phone,then i syncronize it with my pc,,is there any possible that all the application will be deleted/gone?

No all those apps will not be deleted from the phone. However, those apps will not be able to sync into your pc due to authorization problem. Those apps are all tied to the original owner's iTunes account. And also you'll not be able to update those apps in future whenever there is app updates. Those apps will stay on the iPhone until you remove them.

Machines - dont sell iPhone 4
Maxis - Priority to Maxis user most of the time. If u are lucky you might get it.

It could be the plug.... try diff plug and see. If not try using your friends charger. If still the same problem then it might be your phone

i'm sorry if this is a dumb question but i still need confirmation from experienced users here.

i'm a Digi user and bought my iphone from Digi. So it's unlocked. Currently, i think the firmware is 4.1 and i get a notification from itunes asking me if i want to update to 4.2?

My question is, after updating, will i lose all my apps and game settings/progress?

in the FAQ, here's what is written

1. What is the meaning of Restore and Update in iTunes? (credit to frozzbyte)
A: iTunes provides two options to change the firmware on your phone. Restore and Upgrade.
A1: Restore is a full erase and reprogramming of your device. This will result in a factory fresh device. All songs and contacts are wiped out.
A2: Update will only wipe out the smaller disk partition leaving all your songs and settings intact. Update is only useful if you are trying to go from one version to the next version of firmware. It will not solve any problems on your phone unless they are naturally solved by the new firmware. I generally recommend using restore in all cases.

Apps and games can be sync/re-download to your phone at anytime, as long as you had already purchased them.

You may first sync all the apps and games to your pc, then after the restore/update process is done, only sync them back to the phone.

the problem is...some games like angry bird i already play up to many levels...once i do that..will it reset all my achievements?
