QUOTE(+3kk! @ Mar 13 2011, 08:59 PM) but sorry la i not feature hungry, i kinda dislike amps with too many channels and too many effects. too noob to mess with complex stuff. i was thinking of a 2 channel amp like the bassman, and if times need i put a pedal infront for metal love. dont really fancy modern sounding amps That's a good idea really, even a single channel amp would be good with a couple of pedals to push it where ever you want it to go. Dump all that dough towards a kick ass single channel! I've read some good things about the Nobels ODR-1, but haven't tried it myself. ProGuitar Shop selling for USD99. Jom bulk order? page 101 = thread becomes 404
gotta question,i know that age makes a gibson or a fender better.
does that principle work for squiers and epiphones? not in terms of price, but quality.

QUOTE(+3kk! @ Mar 13 2011, 08:59 PM) mesa doesnt make something i want, if not i would consider d and their amps are woefully expensive 15k for a head with heaps of features i dont use. for that kinda cash id rather spend on a bassman 59/marshall superlead + an ENGL fireball for modern stuff. if i calculated right, id still have change lol. but sorry la i not feature hungry, i kinda dislike amps with too many channels and too many effects. too noob to mess with complex stuff. i was thinking of a 2 channel amp like the bassman, and if times need i put a pedal infront for metal love. dont really fancy modern sounding amps QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Mar 13 2011, 09:20 PM) That's a good idea really, even a single channel amp would be good with a couple of pedals to push it where ever you want it to go. Hmm think so. but since they are like knock-offs, the wood grades differs alot from the real deal people dont appreciate them This post has been edited by guitarinspiresme: Mar 14 2011, 03:27 PM
