i'm playing around with Garageband2 software (for Apple only), and it's really good ! It does a lot in a simple way...

Apple, I'm loving it !!

Hopefully I'll record a short track soon....

Do you use DXi or Microsoft GS in your MIDI output channel?

OMG. That's a lot of GBs. Anyways, huzai, u an expert in using Cakewalk Sonar? I'm having a problem with the MIDI output. I've posted the question in the thread titled 'Recording'.

hello people

i've started a simple tutorial page for Fruityloops. it's very very simple and basic, and hopefully i have enough time to add in more tutorials that deal with advanced features.

http://www.azahan.com/music/index.html

and while you're at it, click on the google ads and sponsor me a new guitar biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

come submit tutorials too...

IMAGE-LINE FL Studio 6 Producer Edition ...coming soon.

user posted image

FL have 3 version:

1) FL Studio Express
2) FruityLoops edition
3) Producer edition

The main different between Producer edition and FruityLoops edition is:

FruityLoops edition don't have audiotrack (multitrack audio),So you can't record audio in FL.

The Producer edition can create full song (midi + audio) at this edition.

Anyway depend on the what you need, if you using FL Studio with Nuendo / Cubase, actually you don't need Producer Edition, FruityLoops edition is enough.

Guys, what do you think of my drums & bass sound?? Check it out here :
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...dpost&p=6348203

I used Computer Music bundled drums sampler SR-202 with Natural Studios Free drum samples for the drums (With some Cubase reverb) while Yohng bass plugin for bass. Programmed with Cubase MIDI editor. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

well i'll say... the drums sound nice and natural! just the right amount of reverb... only that the velocity of the hits are too linear - not much variation in volume.

well that's it... for the comment of the song itself, maybe i'll post em in the My Song thread!

Yeah... I wanted to use the logical editor to vary the velocity and position (More lazy feel) but I already mixed the backing track. Oh well... next time maybe. smile.gif
