this is Arsenal. Accept the fact, lads. We are 2nd class in BPL. Can't compete with Chelsea/Manu at all

It's alright, we just 2points behind. If we do well in the 2nd half of this season, we will be ok.

The sad fact is such a completely spineless posting behaviour doesn't only apply to him. If you look at the trends in this thread, you would've noticed a lot.

Just a few examples,

1) When Fabianski was shaky, a lot here called him "Flappyhandski" or whatever derogatory names they thought were cute. And when he showed his potential, "Wow I want to have your babies Fabianski!"

2) Beandy claimed something as ridiculous as title decider first few games into the season, and was rightfully ridiculed by the majority including a Chelsea fan. But when we lost a game to Spurs with roughly 2/3 of the season to go, a lot claimed "it's over", "better luck next season" and "as expected, we can't compete" but nobody ridiculed them. Plenty more if you scroll back and read.

I personally feel it's impossible to borak bola when you're surrounded by faulty thermostats. A lot of comical value here though laugh.gif

i don't really mind we lost against epl club cuz we have 38 games to play a season but a 2 losses in CL group stage is something we need to think about.if we keep on playing badly in away games, don't bother to look at wembley next may.

I never doubt Arsenal ability to win trophys this season.. but sometime when players played badly (and is too often this season).. we might grumble abit..

I think I never write off any Arsenal chances to win the title.. but to be fair.. who believe Fabianski at the start of the season (Except AW)..

I am not going to comment the match because I didn't watch it - shame on me sad.gif because I work in early shift.

So, it's back to the topic of being optimistic to the club (or the Optimistic Club) - forgive my bad English.

For those who have known me for years in this thread, you should know that I always maintain to be Neutral and Positive towards the club and this thread wink.gif

Positive: I always believe that everyone works hard for the club, players and fans alike. Being a fans, we have a very important task to stand behind the club and the players whenever shit happens biggrin.gif

We will still go through as long as we beat Partizan at home regardless either Braga or Shakhtar win. We have identical head to head records against Braga and Shakhtar but much superior goal difference.

You can't be a neutral Arsenal fan. By being an Arsenal fan, you're already picking sides tongue.gif

i didn't watch the match and first thing I did when i woke up is to check the result.

omg lost again! vmad.gif

what the hell is happening? vmad.gif

are we having a crisis in the dressing room that all of us are not aware of?

gosh it is so unbelievable that Arsenal is on a loosing streak.

i actually believe that we have better players this season compare to last season but performance wise, this is the worst.

it is so sad that we have to depend on others to loose in order to be in the last 16 and that is not a guarantee as we have to win the next home match too.

I think all the players and the everyone involved in the team have to "mandi bunga" to wash away all their "sui".

something is just not right..................

I wanna join the Optimistic Club. tongue.gif

Let's see

1) We are at 3rd place in the league, 2 points behind the joint leaders.

2) We are 2nd in the CL group and we'll qualify if we win, regardless of Braga result(Partizan Belgrade has 0 point which means they are not gonna qualify anyway so i doubt they'll put up a fight tongue.gif + It's a home game)

3) Cesc is injured again sad.gif but this means that our most in form player this season-Nasri can play at his favourite position which is in the middle.

P.S. Aaron Ramsey plays for Arsenal for first time in nine months rclxm9.gif

I have supported the clubs for years. But this time I really feel disappointed. Never been that sad like before. A team without consistency will never win anything (overall in a season). I was at the positive side after we were beaten by spurs last weekend. How about this morning game? Totally BS. Please tell me who the fuxk braga is. If we couldn't win this game, at least a draw will make me happy (other gunners fans as well). We are lucky at the 3rd spot in BPL (please don't tell me we playing good at this moment. the fact is, chelsea and manu drop a lot of points, and we get the advantages from there).

first off, it's still early in the season and despite the morale sapping loss to the sp*rs and then the surprise loss to braga, we've still got every chance to win all the competitions that we're in.

however, if there's a reason why we won't win anything this season, it will be the same problems that i've been speaking about every season since the invicibles era: this pattern of being very wasteful in front of goal and having such a soft defensive underbelly is our major archilles heel.

wasteful in front of goal:
offensively, we are a joy to watch and when we pull it off, there is NO other team in the BPL that can even come close to to matching the exquisite beautiful on display. we are also hardworking offensively. however, we take too many chances to score. chief culprits this season for me has been arshavin and chamakh. i'm not saying that they're crap, but arshavin has missed way too many one on one situations while chamakh has missed a few sitters himself. the joy though is that chamakh has added headers to how arsenal score these days.

also, like some have mentioned previously , arsenal players insist on too much overelaborate passing while we've all but discarded the art of shooting until we are desperate or we're in showboating mood. i've always maintained that we must learn to mix the elaborate goals with the shots from distance and also the simple tap ins. right now, arsenal are pretty predictable in that we will always choose to keep passing unless it's a counter attack. so teams just basically set up a bus and wait for the arsenal players to pass the ball to death. then when they're desperate, long shots become predictable as well.

soft defensive underbelly:
in the past, when flamini left and song wasn't in the first team, we had no steel in midfield even though we had lehmann in goal. lehmann was dropped when he suffered a loss of form, but then song stepped up. then when song stepped up to the plate, almunia and then our centrebacks of toure and gallas took turns having slumps in form.

this season, fabianski has less flaps, but then our defenders have been having VERY sub par performances, especially clichy in my book. both squillaci and koscielny have not been consistent as well even though they have individiually good in some matches. only sagna has emerged with his reputation enhance with better crosses and his once in a blue moon goal.

again, i'm still hopeful that we'll win something this season, but winning merely papers over these two very major issues that wenger needs to address. if he can resolve this two issues, we will win a lot more and lose very little, and with that, will come our consistency. it's been something that wenger has failed to address (whether it's because of injuries or his philosophy, i don't know) and something that i've been saying for a very long time.

but no matter what happens, i've always been, and always will be a gunner.

fabregas seems laking energy, maybe the unsuccesful move to barcelona has effected him

he should go, must go. he is not da old Fab anymore. lack of consistency. shame on him to b a captain. da whole team look tired bcos of him. if we played rosicky in his position n Vela to wing, we would have better chance.

Bendtner, da as*hole, is stil a brainless ego player. he n walcott can be supersub, but nvr a starting 11. if he is in ManU or Chelsky, i thk he has been loaned to crystal palace or celtic bcos totally no chance to b a sub. he looked gd in denmark team bcos denmark is definitely 3rd-class european team. mayb he should go to play in germany wher ppl like to play long ball n slow football. most of gd heading player get their name in Bunderliga.

center defenders r not da main prob, da main prob is who to hold da midfield. we need DM. strong DM make strong Triangle wif DC. wic is hard to breakthrough for da team who play ball in middle. flamini wasnt gd, but hardworking at least. Gilberto was really gd. denilson is sh*t, stil same sh*t after so long. should sell off (but i wonder who wants him, mayb Negri would like to have him? nah?)

overall, it was a bad performance from team, bad strategy from Wenger. Bad day for arsenal. Bad mood for u n me. u know i was ignore sport news for 2 days bcos i don wana c any news regardin our defeat.

sell FAB! mad.gif
