I calibrated my U2412M with Spyder3Express. There's no auto calibrate :S. U2412M isn't factory calibrated like the higher range.

Hmm, it should show differences actually. But I don't really know... it shows differences, but not as obvious as the one you view with your eyes.
*
I see haha don't really know about monitor stuffs, just read through google and apply my knowledge and patch my words up and post here. Ohh no auto calibrate.

The higher end model U2410 which cost RM1699.00 should get calibrated before send out from the factory. But so far the design and quality match your standard or not this U2412M?

U2412M vs U2311H? hmm.gif

Contrary to consumer belief & analogy, how much we pay for is how much we get in return. Regardless of food, services, goods & product.

Sure U2412M better than U2311H lor.. For those who cannot afford U2412M, can compensate with U2311H for its resemblance and similarity. For those who choose U2412M definitely know what they're paying for:)

23" vs 24", 1920x1080 vs 1920x1200, CCFL vs LED. I would pay the differences for U2412M judging from those alone biggrin.gif. Have not used a U2311H before, but from the spec on Dell website, seems to be similar with U2412M.
*
Yes. Just the resolution, diagonal dimension, LED. However U2412M sure offer RM290 more than U2311H brows.gif

Yes I managed to negotiate RM855 and close deal. Unfortunately now RM799! Grr just 3 days ago only. Ya lor it's new item and they want to create awareness and spread the words around. RM799 compared to U2311H RM609. Customer will still consider about U2412M lor.

Hi bro, why don't you take the trouble and call up DELL customer service and clear all doubts? Works for me though.

Added on August 12, 2011, 10:05 amOne concern: Wonder if my year 2009 GT240 GeForce can support U2412M.

Well, you don't even need to see it in the cart, it's written on the product description itself. You can see it the moment you get into 24-30 inch monitor page, not to mention there are several other monitors who have got special codes available as well, such as the U2711.

Here

For those who are planning or upgrading your monitor, please consider the additional discount offered by DELL. It's a good buy. I bought at the price of 855 cry.gif

After using U2412M for a few days, totally loving it! 1920x1200 is better for me as per compared to 1920x1080 of my other monitor. More vertical space to work with smile.gif

Excellent! Kudos. Another satisfied customer and value his money. By the way what graphic card are you using for U2412M? Me is GT240 not sure it can utilize & optimize U2412M or not. Eh you haven't take pictures as mentioned by you earlier. brows.gif

Any graphics card nowadays can put up resolution at any monitor, now just what you want to utilize it for is another matter.
Gaming at 1200p? Photoshop-ing at 1200p? Movie at 1200p?
All is possible except you might encounter lower FPS on gaming, and what games you usually play on your GT240?
What resolution are you using before U2412M?
*
Just casual gaming that's all. Does not require high-end graphic card. Of course the max resolution.

hi all , after i consider during 1 year , and now i decide to purchase a new monitor with DELL U2311H , when i register member in dell , and i click of ORDER ..

i found that i dun have credit card..
can i order with my Debit card ? is that possible ?
*
Yes, should be possible all you need is your internet pin number. If all else fail you can always call up DELL and further enquire I'm sure they'll be more than happy to assist and close your deal.

Now U2412M is having a RM100 discount from the original price RM899. It's a good catch though. Work the math and it's worth it. The specification U2412M offer and U2311H. We have a satisfied customer here. Celciuz, read his comment and others:) Good luck in your purchase!
