As of no, U2412M is the heat and trend in this thread:P For the price of RM1389 you can get almost 2 of U2412M. Anyway you wait for the U2412HM. It's relatively resembles and inch close in terms of specifications with his predecessor U2412M. On top of that, U2412M having offer now RM749 from RM899. Only for a limited time.

QUOTE(sakurakinomoto @ Aug 21 2011, 05:45 PM) Question to those who have U2412m, how is gaming performance, 8ms time matters or not? No this is not recommended for high-end graphic requirement. You gotta spend on Alienware Monitors or Samsung SA Series which cost RM1300 and above.

QUOTE(BeastX @ Aug 21 2011, 08:16 PM) I believe he was asking for Gaming (fast FPS/racing and such) ... where speed is more essential than colour accuracy/depth/contrast/even shades... good quality TN panels (and cheaper monitors) rather than U2412M Alright hope he get what you mean

If you want value for money IPS panel and LCD, DELL is a good choice. Survey their full range from Entry LCD to Ultra Sharp models.

QUOTE(BeastX @ Aug 22 2011, 02:45 PM) For U2311H or U2412M, no difference... the panels are simply not able to display more bit-rate that DP port allows, so DP/HDMI/DVI will be equally the same... The higher end models with 10bit (or 8 + 2 bit) panels however does benefit form it.... but you'll also need supporting GC and software. Which end up spending more money just for DP sake
