jus read bout the ASUS U36 The MSRP $999 model will include the following:
* 13.3-inch display (1366x768 resolution) * Intel Core i5-460M dual-core processor (2.53GHz; 2.80GHz Turbo Boost; 3MB cache) * Core i5 Processor 480M/460M or the Core i3 Processor 390M/380M * Nvidia GeForce G310M graphics with 1GB of memory * 4GB system RAM * 500GB 7200RPM hard drive * HDMI, one USB 3.0 port * 2-year global warranty w/ 1 year accidental damage protection
funny the i5 460m is stated a dual core? im on i5 450m and its quadcore so how can it be backwards but still at 19mm with a i5 processor and even gfx card, wow forget netbooks already

Any users of the A42JA-VX061V?
With following specs:
- Intel® Core™ i7-740QM Processor (6M cache, 1.73 GHz) - Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit) - 14' HD (1366x768) LED backlit - 4GB DDR3 RAM - 640GB Hard Disk Drive - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 - 2-year limited global hardware warranty
I am considering the above laptop vs a Dell. The main question is the ATI v Nvidia debate. Any seniors out there with a view on which is better, or whether there is any significant difference btw the ATI 5730 v Nvidia 435m?
thx
