yes ... there are many types of suspension/anti vibration etc etc mechanism
but there are limitations of very limited space and weight
so we do the best we can to fall into that restriction

unless u have a very big multicopter with big batteries/motor etc etc
then possible for those big stuff

with that ... comes very big budget oso ... hahahaha

Added on June 15, 2012, 11:11 pmps .. the mechanism for the mic above WILL NOT WORK WELL
as it is a floating suspension system .. it will no doubt be subjected to G force as well as wind force .. those will induce unwanted vibrations oso
camera needs to be mounted RIGID but isolated from vibrations as much as possible ..

Hi sifu dadoo and QIW, wan to ask something for the inverted flight...i can do some inverted hovering in simulator pretty well...but in real life if i wan to inverted my heli...is it just do the same thing in simulator? turn on idle up>full elevator to front>throttle down when the heli already inverted.

just need some advise b4 i try inverted hovering. >.<
*
if u have set up everything properly
then it is the same as the SIM except for that "fear factor" .. hahahaha

can a digital servo suddenly become hot, and then malfunctioned?
YES

anyone know where can i get walkera servos cheap?
dunno .. hehehe

Thanks...
*
check servos for binding .. excessive binding creates too much stress on the servo

Qiw, the sim cable that you use for your 8FG does it has an audio cable?

If it is, is that a stereo one or mono audio cable?
*
sorry for late reply ...
my EX sim cable has a MONO 3.5mm jack adapter going into the USB dongle

now if i wanna SIM i just use the ESKY .. hehehehe

fatshark is one of the popular/established brand in FPV .. so they cannot be that bad if at all .. hahahaha
the set up javen loh is selling is a 5.8 system .. not easy to deal with the inherent limitations but it is small and easy to place
price is very reasonable if all the stuff is in good condition ... dont expect the 100mW 5.8 transmitter to take u out too far laa .. 100-200m should be fine .. good enuff for the multicopter .. hahahahaha

Hahahaha, nothing can be hidden from you.
I know him actually and I have a feel on his system before. He let me test the goggle when he flew his quad. But one thing I dont like is the resolution of the goggle, quite on the low side and with a little of noise too. I am expecting the video quality like your GoPro videos in fact, heheheh am I over demanding?
By the way, is that possible to swap a higher power transmitter in to replace the 100mW one if I am going to get it?
*
well .. currently there are no "affordable" HD (DIGITAL) solutions for live transmission at hobby grade price tag
furthermore HD transmission requires high bandwidth and range is very limited for now
so u will have to live with some static and interference (ANALOG)
analog is much better in terms of fpv coz when signal degrades or get bad video will get noisy and bad instead of just cutting off in digital videos (u have time to turn back)

what u see is not resolution actually ... it is the field of view (size of the tv u are watching) ... most of the current standard fpv goggles are 640x480 res
mine has slightly bigger FOV .. the biggest one in the market is the fatshark base and aviator edition (available for HBK i think) but base has been discontinued and aviator oso coming to production EOL
the downside with bigger FOV is u can see more pixelated video with ha bigger screen coz res is the same as the ones with smaller FOV

as for range .. yes ... u can upgrade to the 600mW transmitter for longer range
fatshark transmission modules only comes in 100 and 600mW sets ... they use airwave modules which currently only comes in those 2 configurations

anyways ... his set is already SOLD !!!
so u have to look for something elsewhere tongue.gif

yes budget is a issue but i willing spend few k++ on it.according to local flyer i met they said kkboard not suitable for fpv.heard they said no stabilizer and they recommend something like fei u controller.so which controller you recommend for FPV quadcopter.
*
where are u located ?
u can join some of us FPV copter flyers to have a look for yourself
does the local flyers who gave u that advice have multicopter experience combined with FPV experience ??

anyways ... here is a FPV video flown using a KK board (not even a KK2) by a local flyer whom i fly with ..

Added on September 15, 2012, 11:13 pmmissed the part about u willing to spend a few K on this fpv
well .. the dummy's choice for this would be the DJI NAZA ... but i do not recommend it at all based on my own experience and of a few of the others that own this board

what kinda RC experience do u have ??

Added on September 16, 2012, 8:47 ameerrr ... video from yesterday morning
full of jellos but damm FUN !!! heheheehe

my hometown at  trengganu and once a month i will be in KL and mostly fly alone in my hometown . i able fly figure 8 helicopter with trex450.is it good enough to fly fpv quadcopter.I read a review about  naza it's reputable controller so why you not recommend it.can you briefly comment about this naza weakness.
*
dont wanna comment too much on naza
easier to just say .. if i were u i would not take naza

if u can fly the trex ... ANY multicopter will be 10x easier ... hahahahaaa
