Kent since u are using the 35mm lens can u give some comments on this lens?

Very hard bump against the rock. the mount stuck to the lens, but the body... no more mount. Ripped the screws out of it. The lens, wrapped in neoprene, survived without a scratch. Used it for almost 2 more years, then sold it away and replaced it with a VRII. It was a 80-200 AF-D by the way.

DLE sounds more like a PC + Home AV + gadgets fair to me rather than any Expo... Maybe some good deals to be had there?

Ouch, do you're saying if this same hard crash on the D3 or something the mount won't come off?

Its a D80 that I ruined. The plastic was torn apart and the screws were attached to the mount still. The mount was on the lens, but off the camera   

I haven't crashed my D700 yet... but I dunno. Metals bend, plastics break. Either way its best to avoid bumps...

Anyways, my "neoprene" is just closed cell foam that you can buy from Tesco/Popular stationary shops. I'm cheapskate. I stick them on with foam double sided tape. When its time to sell the lens, just tear it off gently and it leaves very little residue. Some rubbing alcohol will remove the remainder. DONT use nail polish remover. That thing will wash off your lens enamel paint. Get the lens cleaner fluid, video casette tape head cleaner kind of alcohol.

Seemsrather expensive if you ask me. Kenko Pro1D at RM 200 is more like a 77 or 82mm size. And vitacon... Please dont. You'll be disappointed by the quality, flare and what not. You can almost get a real Hoya HD or B+W at that price, that shop doesnt sound too honest.

Glenmarie. I'm just helping my relatives to take their group photos. Feels paiseh to take more cos they got an army of 4 OPs (2 Nikon for photo and 2 Canon for video). You say leh? Somemore, mount I think an SB-600 remotely to do CLS on the stage..

I think the 2 Nikon OP just use 24-70mm, roughly guessed. Both on wide angle.
