D7000? Wohoo~! Well, was looking at friend's D7000 photo. Pretty impressive despite using just the 18-105 to shoot indoor without flash. LOL. The color output from D7000 is really vibrant! Love it~!
Ahh, this shall serve as my second body (or third when I upgrade to FX) . But the color is a no no to me ._. Why can't they go matte black with the red 'underwear' at the grip .

I have SB900 but I still want to get SB700 due to its smaller size.

In terms of Guide Numbers, things haven't changed a lot. For FX cameras, the GNs tend to be very slightly lower for the SB-900 than for the SB-800 for equivalent settings, though the ability to focus the flash head and the 200mm head position can give you a boost if you're not trying to light really wide areas and prefer to limit the flash coverage. Also, there's a bit more power at the very widest setting, probably due to changes in the diffuser. From a practical, functional level, I'd rate this all as a wash. The ability to shape the beam is actually more beneficial in actual shooting than a bit more power would be, in my opinion. Bottom line: don't expect a light level boost over an SB-800.

Got new feature with SB700? I tot its just an upgrade of sb600 with master function...

With the iso6400 of D700 and 24 F1.4, flash is not really that needed at night already. I mostly use my sb900 for fill flash only which I think is too big and heavy.

Later nobody wanna buy the SB700, since the SB900 is around 1.5k+, wonder where would the SB700 price belongs. 1.2k, rather add 300+ to get SB900,

1 question that stays in my head for very long time..... There is rear mount filters? Or how does they add filter for those larger than 77mm? i.e 200mm F2 those big head bazooka

I am fine with the result I got from D700 ISO6400 + 24 1.4.
I would be happier if nikon can come out with D3s sensor on D700 body + flip LCD like D5k.

I like fast lens. But I still like zoom's versatility . But nowadays I prefer the 85mm over to 70200 unless I really need the extra range LOL.
