QUOTE(micdy @ Nov 20 2010, 09:16 AM) Thanks for all ya reply. But still doesn't explain the absence of the AF confirmation light (red dot). Anyway, for those who got their D7000 already, did you all notice anything wrong with the camera? My friend got one and when he tried to take pictures, the pictures come out blur. I have no idea what settings he is using and we are both new to DSLR and he is in Malaysia and I am in Australia. Any help would be much appreciated. Same here!! I am facing this prob since last week too.... pic turns out to be blur!! Very blur esp taking portraits, the face like photoshop with strong gaussian blur!! I sent back to Nikon, they confirmed it has front focus. U can test yourself on the focus chart =) Focus ChartIf really got focus issue, ask ur fren try to go back to the shot and ask for 1 to 1 exchange, I'm still waiting for stock to arrive the shop I bought, currently out of stock, so can't exchange. This suggestion for 1 to 1 exchange was give by Nikon themselves. =)

QUOTE(MichaelJohn @ Nov 22 2010, 09:36 AM) mmmm.... While waiting for SB-700 to arrive in shops , better to go straight to SB-900? Later nobody wanna buy the SB700, since the SB900 is around 1.5k+, wonder where would the SB700 price belongs. 1.2k, rather add 300+ to get SB900,

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 22 2010, 10:33 AM) I know the 1635 f/2.8L uses 82mm. Not sure about Nikkor's 1735 f/2.8 using what filter size.. but 14-24 f/2.8 no filter thread . If want to use need to use those Cokin sytem haha. $$$! If the front element very big then no need to protect? Juz monster hood gao dim? How they mean rear mounted filters? wat u mean Cokin system?

QUOTE(aldosoesilo @ Nov 22 2010, 11:28 PM) Bro. When do you think one should upgrade their kit lense? I bought my DSLR like 1 month ago, and I am thinking to upgrade my kit lens 18-55mm to 50mm f\1.4G? a lot of people say it's too soon. as I only know DSLR for 1 month, I myself find it kind of true as I saw people carrying their kit lens for 10 months even more. So I am wondering when is the appropriate time for upgrade the kit lense?? is it when you know aperture, iso and shutter speed? or anything else?? When this questions pop up in your mind, means u r not prepared!! u haven even master ur 18-55mm den wanna spend money again? At least u get some decent photos out of your kit lens den u start to look for other lens, i.e 50mm prime lens, zoom ur kit lens to 50mm and walk around whole day to shoot at this focal length, see how u feel, den u start to think whether primes r suitable for u or not
