i must say i agree...history tought us this..original saga & wira, the early models are good due to high numbers of japan sourced parts...but for waja, gen2 & models that 100% of proton design, the later batch is better (trial & error perhaps?)..

anyway, now waiting for customs, jpj registrations, etc...then she'll be mine..heheh...

From here you guy already see this guy is hoax maker.  He took car on friday (which we knew that the car not yet release to the buyer after the last official lunch, obviously he a liar), after '5 second' (which i think he do not yet out from COE) already felt the 'click,click,click' (what a joke!!). On Sunday he notice a broken air filter box which he claim that dirty air sucking into his engine. Then he created account in ispira club on tues 30 nov and make the 1st post as above at 10.25pm saying he make appointment with COE tomorrow (wednesday which is today).  The car not yet 1 week old after he got it. The BIG QUESTION is, How on Earth, he got the car on the last friday where proton not yet release to the buyer yet??? Obviously a really a butthurt joker.

i wonder why kastam delaying

kastam have problem with their system, unable to update the database accordingly...heck, i've even resorted to personally ask the ppl in kastam about this, and yes indeed, they confirmed that they do have problem with this..so, dont marah2 ur SA just yet

I dont know if Proton got a Kastam office (similar like to tobacco and liquor producing plant) at their assembly plant or not, if they have, the car will only be allowed to leave the compound with proper paper work and tax paid, else its stuck inside. So seeing the pictures of cars being delivered on the truck to dealers, shows taxes already paid in my opinion. Those in showroom can be sold immediately as the duties are paid prior to delivery. Can anyone confirm this?

Batu Pahat SA told me that 1.8L still got 2 yr free service offer but not the 2L. However I made my booking for 2L white today with 1 year (20,000km) free service. Is that true for all branches? Test car 1.8L MT arrived but waiting for reg b/f can test drive.

Cobra Connex T5 is RM3,980 including installation and first year subscription. Yearly subscription is RM360/year.

I dont want to discredit EON but in term of car delivery, Proton will give his priority to Proton Edar 1st.

Preparing to complain to them.

Not wanting to boast or anything, but for comparison my 3.0liter diesel is 9.7l/100km and 80% city.  Therefore, I believe the Inspira is really thirsty.
