Changing to K&N really does have an effect, it just too small like 1%, its hardly noticeable.
*
change to k&N or simota can get +/- 3-5HP la if not mistaken. Can feel the difference in acceleration

If you wana mod, jz do it. How many of you get JPJ block in a year or 2 or 3?  drool.gif  I might be lucky as I had not been caught by JPJ yet smile.gif  My previous wira car lowered with suspension, projector light, dark tail lamp, 2.5 exhault. Those JPJ ppl are not that hardworking after all.  icon_rolleyes.gif  Sometimes u will see in paper, JPJ Block WILL start for big exhault.  Later few months, they start catching for dark tinted, then heavily modded car. After few months .. NO NEWS..
*
wth so damn lucky r u..
i travel long distance a lot.. 5k per month..
almost jumpa weekly with JPJ..
last time my 1 day old carbon fibre plate kena..damn la..so unlucky..
dare not touch HID..

tested the 1.8cvt for the 2nd time today, this time on highway, albeit a short one.. on idling, there is a slight engine noise can be heard, and slight vibration on the steering. i can also hear the air-cond compressor kicked in.. from there i know the soundproofing for engine is not so good. on the road, the car felt surprisingly nimble eventhough weights over 1300kg.. at cruising speed (test from 90~120km/h), the car felt quiet. can only hear slight gush of wind when flooring the car. engine roars when pushed hard. overall the car feels pleasant when cruising, but engine noise can be intrusive if rpm goes over 4k, but won't give you stress on long journeys. but i keep telling myself the car costs only rm80k++, which i think other cars in the same price bracket have similar nvh smile.gif smile.gif who knows, the 2.0p might have better sound insulation.
*
normal la if the car goes above 4k..thats high enough already..

Added on November 28, 2010, 12:41 amcheck the car insulation under da hood..see if got or not..some show models got..some dont.. not sure bout the real thing..any owners can clarify?

just did first service on monday.. i don't think the fuel consumption will improve too much.. anyway, the currect FC is mostly city driving.. 85% city+jam, 15% highway..
*
eh Ron97 = V-Power..

Unless u mean V-Power Racing..
Eh im ok with shell.. good milage.. but heard Esso n BHP 97 better..

For me, 2.0 have cruise control that I need it. Besides, some of items such as the aircont button look more quality for 2.0 compare to 1.8.
*

Never seen the 2.0 inspira.. u comfirm its diff?

It is still safe to run on RON95, just check your manual on minimum fuel requirement, for me, i get more with 95, with BHP 95x2, even more.

We are not low compression engine which need high RON to operate.
*
i tot high compression needs high RON -> Civic type R

Our 2 owners here are lucky.. to be safe when u got ur car plz check thoroughly..

The Test Drive Car in terengganu got mechanical defects as well.
For the first batches of cars, show cars and test driver cars were assembled in a hurry. I advice the 2 owners not to take these complaints lightly.
Lists them all and have ur cars checked again and again. Just to be safe.
