I'm pretty sure no actions will be taken since the management of Malaysian football is a bunch of no-hopers...

TBH i think the only way to built strong good Malaysian team is to start from the root.

Yes start from the junior academy. Thats how China's diving team win loads of gold medals.

FYI Mexican are not tall, they are short but yet they play in World Cup.

You don't need to be a giraffa or gaint to play football. And im sure i see plenty of tall people in M'sia.

The government should help and invest the money into football instead of sticking thier butts on the chair and shake thier legs.

Is all about how much money you put into something. More money more better result and this is the fact.

But of course this gonna take some long time.

And i doubt we will see Malaysia world ranking will improve any time sooner if we lose to Hong Kong.

Edit:
I read some of you said the government is corrupt. Well i must absolutely agree with that.

The money is there,it just not channeled properly. They are trying to develop from the root but they doing it poorly and the result as we can see the youth already following the big brother footstep. Nobody will criticize them much if they lost to korea or japan but Hong Kong?

can we kick politicians from sport top post..
remember perlis mb shahidan kasim hold 2 or 3 top sport position
how the held he gonna handle those responsibilities plus with perlis problem..
umno positions and god knows how many company..

and this may sound harsh, i think Royals cant be head of FAM.. cuz who us mere mortals dare to say against Royals, maybe few suggestion we dare but for decent, critical and heated discussion with King who dares??? royals should be like advisor better

i vote for no politicians with top sport manegment and let who really in have knowledge n skills take over

Problem is not the coach is lousy.

Fact. Josef Venglos was a World Cup Coach. He failed in Malaysia. Claude Le Roy too is a World Cup Coach. He failed too in Malaysia. Karl Weigang has taken Malaysia to Olympics 1980. He failed miserably in subsequent stints in Malaysia.

Why?

We have bungling and interfering officials who knows nuts about the game.

We have players who thinks too highly of themselves when all they can play is at a padang near us.

Truth

We have officials who only think of making money and not for the development of the game.
We do not have players with mental strength to grow into potential quality players.
The coach can only do this much, without proper materials (players) and with nosey officials, only one result... TOTAL FAILURE.

Technically I would say that they do not have the mentality. These can be due to 2 things:

1. They are plucked from the village hence with very little of everything and suddenly they see fame. They get big headed and no one to guide or control them.
2. They are really hopeless.

If we are to subscribe to matter 1 above, we actually have a lot of successful examples which we can learn from. Lets take one big example, the one that does not need to go to England for intensive training to be a world champion: Nicole David. Excelled in education, excelled in sports. We may argue that it is a lesser sport, this squash game, but nevertheless what are the ingredients:

1. Brains
2. Understanding of the sport itself - need brains too
3. Parents involvement. This would help keep the child/teenager foot firmly on the ground and not being lifted up. This needs brains too to understand the importance of keeping one's feet on the ground.
4. Character/ Attitude - focus and willing to work hard.

So after saying so much, only 2 things brains and attitude. Which sadly ALL our current footballers have NONE. So in other words, you put it damn right in 1 line what I tried to put in 5 entire paragraphs... kekekekeke...
