shaun maloney if he still malaysian n play for malaysia team and he play for scottish club still nothing to be proud.. it just scottish club not epl or italy or spain series a
*
The Scottish league is roughly on par with the dutch league nowadays (though it doesn't produce nearly as many new talents), and its still infinitely better than anything our other players have ever played in.

QUOTE
the rules already blobk any malaysian to play in epl, english fa only allow work permit for any non european player to play in their league if their nation is inside the top 70 of fifa world ranking...malaysia at ?
Titus James has a french PR me thinks, so he could be elligible to play for the EPL =P

Not EPL, but Scottish Premier League O_O

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaun_Maloney

The fella was born in Miri.. too bad he decided to play for Scotland instead of us (big surprise >_<)

*found him while I was searching for malaysian players on FM2006, lol biggrin.gif database setting = Huge*
Looks like we missed out on a very very good player doh.gif
*
From the wiki link:
Maloney was born in Miri, Malaysia, where he spent the first four and a half years of his life. His family then moved to his mother's home-town of Aberdeen, Scotland.

Lucky him, if he stays here, malaysia wont gain a superb player, coz he himself will not become a good player here (see the way our big gun handle the football here and the atitute also).... tongue.gif
so very very lucky guy in his career aspect. sad to say, this is the fact.
