another disappointment for me after FXIII, been buying final fantasy series without regards or any consent given by reviewers. This will be the last kick in the pants that id be having from final fantasy series. Will be reviewing first after this before grabbing it off the shelves blindly like a 'fanboy' always did (Which is me when it comes to final fantasy) rofl.

I think it will be F2P.

BTW last night i try other mmorpg and found out
the game are more fun to play with and the best thing is it freeeeeee!!!!
although the graphic not as WOW and OHHH as FF14 but i quite enjoy myself in it.
I do hope SE will make this game better so i can come back some day to play them...

I see v5 already congratz but as i watch reviews online, ppl are saying this game is damn disappointing, it is true, in your opinion guys? i thought of getting a copy myself since there is free months haha..

if u r hardcore gamers. play alot of mmorpg, then u going to be dissapointed, But if u r FF series fan, that is the strong point. U will like it even how much suck it is (as i am)
the game is not very good, but at least it is much better with recent patch. and we going to receive 2 more patch/update this month. Which most likely make the game complete in term of GUI, control. then what it is lacking is only the contents. But expect to receive more contents with addition of Notorious monster with the later update. But i think it is not that bad if u have some friends and active linkshell (TQ no life).

with the new team leading the FFXIV (most are from FFXI, FFX,FFVII) expect many changes that tally to the FF Series (not some new staff which make FF their own a brand new series). But i doubt they going to be a character wipe, although adjustment in skill is possible. If it ever be, most probably we should get bonus, multiple rank up, and reallocation of all skill points. And with planned update in this month, the more reason they wont be a wipe. Else, the update is meaningless, killing their time and money.

nah i dont think they will change the system...cause they for those kind of game..they need to plan alot of counter measure for botting system....if its F2P then it gonna be flooded with bots. And alot of F2P game fail because of botting problem. And the Key configuration for FF is easy to make a macro. if its going free then you gonna see alot Blank's around Wutai XD

SE will never make it into a F2P game, cause it will not only ruin their image, but also spoil the FF series. They're a friggin huge company, equivalent to capcom, so doing a F2P can kill their image.

As the new development team is now redoing the game structure, expect changes at least by early next year. Till then, just enjoy the game and have fun. If you feel bored with the game, take a break from it, no biggie. Dec a lot of ppl will be away from the game a bit.
