My Vapor caused my GPS to go haywire.. most of the time it won't be able to lock on to my position.
I compared side by side with a naked iphone and with my vapor-iphone... the naked one had it's GPS position locked in 5-10 seconds, the vapor either took forever or never got a lock.

hi guys, got a Macosphere Hybrid something something (cant remember the name tongue.gif)

its RM60+ in Mac City The Gardens, Mid valley. the cheapest case over there tongue.gif
i kinda regretted the case as the cutting isnt perfect. alot of extra edges at the side. but it comes with a free sp. so i thought why not give it a try?

its OK imo. but finding a new replacement. any reccomendations?

Ask for a refund. They gave you the wrong SP.

I got my vapor from S4a and it does not have any problem with GPS. I am using papago and tom tom both can signal lock easily. The only gripe is with the softwares, both have areas to improve. Possible solution for you guys:

1. Make sure you are getting the original vapor and not the china made ones
2. Apply a layer of insulation like what my seller did for me
3. Place your iphone as close to the windscreen as possible to get easier access for signal, buy those dock that can stick to the windscreen
4. Do not tint your car too heavily if you have not yet done any tinting. I did tint my car to about 50-60%, still I can get signal when I put my iphone near to the windscreen. If I leave it near my audio console area, then no signal.

Hope this helps.

I have tried the ORIGINAL Silver/Silver Vapor (ordered from ElementCase)
and currently trying an OEM Graphite/Graphtie Vapor (from hsienhsien)...

Both same issue... similiar in GPS signal performance (although slight negligible difference in build quality)
I strongly believe NOW that this is my phone problem instead of the casing... why does some phones perform better than others??

Also why is it when I put my iPhone4 side by side with other iPhone4's that I have less bars? (No casing btw)...

Perhaps meet up with S4a and ask him to do that tape-fix.

Anyways... have you tried using GPS with and without the vapor?
Performance same??

Any bumper recommendation for iphone 4 that does not have its own power or volume button. The buttons on the original bumper tends to press onto the iphone buttons.

I know there are lots of cheap bumper out there but those have poor cutting and don't fit exactly. I want something more precise.

When applying my own SGP oleo, there's two layer to peel off. One on the front, one on the back (sticking to the screen). Looks to me, the front isn't pull off?
