QUOTE(s3an_looi @ Dec 13 2010, 05:23 PM) OOPS! Haha~ Sorry I didn't know it was yours. I saved it to my hard disk quite some time ago and stare at it every now and then I personally like the leather one. looks very elegant compared to the carbon fiber. Well, the SGP SkinGuard Leather tends to shrink after long usages. Just like in the picture. It installed perfectly nice at first, then it shrinks when you are sleeping... QUOTE(S4a @ Dec 13 2010, 05:33 PM) Reminds me of some body parts that will shrink when cold... I think back cover replacements trump those vinyls anytime as there's no worrying about aligning the apple logo correctly (my friend's carbon sticker slanted so the apple logo doesn't look very nice). Also there's no worrying about the sticker coming off with use. |

For those who are buying the Vapor Cases from the internet, eBay or locally here...
Here's how to spot between the "Genuine" and "Imitation". NOTE: The "Imitation" version I've got is one of the best and closest looking ELEMENT CASE - Vapor 4 case "Black/Silver". With naked eyes, you won't be able to differentiates almost at all. From far, it looked just like the genuine version. But taking a closer look, it does matters a lot. Especially the paint and screws. If you tighten it overly, it'll worn out the pattern in the screws and your iPhone 4 will stuck with the case forever till you force breaking the case to release your iPhone 4. Also, pls beware that these imitation cases are already in the market worldwide and is coming to our shores soon or may I say, it's already here waiting to be placed on the shelves. You might be paying a Genuine version price or slightly cheaper getting the Imitation version cases without knowing it's an Imitation product you are purchasing and thinking that it's a good deal getting a Genuine version cheaper. Lastly, it's made out of Aluminum/Zinc mixes. Not 100% aircraft Anodized Aluminum. Buy with your brain and be Smart! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Added on December 13, 2010, 7:06 pm QUOTE(s3an_looi @ Dec 13 2010, 05:41 PM) Reminds me of some body parts that will shrink when cold... QUOTE(s3an_looi @ Dec 13 2010, 05:02 PM) The bad effect without the hood is that the light will bounce around the edge of the case's camera hole and reflect back into the lens. Thanks for the explaination. This will result in washed out photographs that are white all over. Using the hood will help somewhat but it all depends on your case and how big the lens 'cutout' is. Now guys.. take a look at this and tell me which is better with the vapor? Carbon fiber or leather? [attachmentid=1936320] I'm waiting for my Vapor and contemplating on getting a back cover replacement with either leather or carbon fiber. Better than using stickers. I prefer the carbon fiber. QUOTE(ysc @ Dec 13 2010, 08:24 PM) Hood refer to the tiny black circle thing in my picture of 'post 521' |

Another write up on the Blade Bumper (Black & Red)
QUOTE I received my black/red blade case today. I love the metal power/volume buttons... it's a nice detail. I know some others have posted minimal signal loss and GPS didn't work but my GPS works fine. Yes, there is a very slight signal loss but it's negligible (-76 w/o case, -81 w/case - see pics below). As with the e13ctron case, GPS took slightly longer to lock but once it locked, it was pretty accurate. I fired up Navigon, took a 20 minute drive around town and it was spot on. As for shipping, I paid for the expedited shipping. Order on Dec 8th, shipped on Dec 9th and received today, Dec 13th via UPS. It ships from South Korea and I live in socal. |

Have you solved the issues with my instruction to you?Should I remove some of the paddings Added on December 14, 2010, 3:55 pmPeel of the sponge at the power button and replace with a thinner tape, got it working. It's the new sponge tape that came with the case are a bit thick. You need to peel out slowly and apply pressures to it to make it thinner with your finger press. Reapply it back and it should do the job. Cheers! Added on December 14, 2010, 6:18 pm QUOTE(stevenplc @ Dec 14 2010, 05:16 PM) Yes, that might be the issue too. Thanks Stevenpic.
