Most theme's does not has transparency as default , some cant be tweaked as well (Light themes) Some can be tweaked by finding the file panel.rc located inside gtk-2.0>Apps folder It will looks like this : CODE style "elementary-panel" { xthickness = 1 ythickness = 0
bg_pixmap[NORMAL] = "/Panel/panel.png" # Disable for normal panel backgrounds.
To enable transparency (change the following) : CODE #bg_pixmap[NORMAL] = "/Panel/panel.png" # Disable for normal panel backgrounds.
Juz add # infront of it to disable the default panel background . This post has been edited by cocooh: Dec 23 2010, 05:40 PM

But the Nautilus background is sweet. BTW, is that Divergence IV? I can't get it to work. I should installed it manually rather than using the script, meh. I thought import to emerald , den highlight it , den alt+f2 n type emerald --replace ? Btw , change the Windows Decoration in Compiz to emerald -r This post has been edited by cocooh: Dec 24 2010, 05:04 PM

QUOTE(-Hzu- @ Dec 24 2010, 05:14 PM) BTW, as I recall, A New Hope is a full fledged theme. It's available at GNOME-look.org. The Emerald theme is working fine on my system, but the not the main theme. Weird, huh. QUOTE(-Hzu- @ Dec 24 2010, 05:19 PM) No, Ubuntu is beyond user friendly. It's too friendly, that's why I wrote "terlalu manja." But 3uL is right, it's the developers vision to make it tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sssisiisisisisisisiisimpppplplplplpplplllplpplplplplplple. Simplicity - from my opinion , Ubuntu is the First Step of preparing open source users to the road of challenges , where they could learn a pile lot of sudo's , commands , functions and etc in Ubuntu which may prepare them to other more --- challenging distros . Been a user of Ubuntu for quite a while now but tends not to shift Why ? Coz loads of apps installed Dun wanna waste my DiGi quota
