serious note:

aircond cooler cause of servicing. else no effect..
radio = reception weak .. cant hear much differences.
headlamp still dim when fan kick in.

or maybe my zaptor not enough power?

just remember i oso use evolve after i throw my platinium in my father's exora...

cabin light dims a bit when fan kicks in...

im using it both front/rear

front 2 fingers back 3 and a half fingers

quite comfort and not toooo bumpy

but i pair it with R3 spring.. other spring dono hahahaha

forgot.. almost 7month+ using the back abs and 2month+ using for front..

is a whole unit, which mean including the cover + mirror + motor adjuster. biggrin.gif
just that you need to lay a wire to connect the signal.

Dei its a knob and spring mechanism.U just position the switch/knob which side mirror u wan to adjust n then just use 1 of ur finger to adjust the spring mechanism. thumbup.gif

if non-cps need to do minor mod only to make u enjoy driving ur normal campro..

wegow: bigger pipes and worth it..

powerzone: never tried before..

R3: as for my car, topspeed feel like have power but the extractor cant spread it.. good for pickup.. thats for my car la.. coz maybe my car mod need to change to wegow..

cap ayam: just good in pickup.. topspeed cannot go hahaha..

thats all i can suggest u with testi.. others can help our friend olso to decide..

i got one question to the gen2 taikors in this thread:
my relative gen2 dashboard has annoying rattles and i heard that normal proton sc needs two days to rectify this problem, so can i go to accesories shop and ask them to open the dashboard and solve this annoying problem?
and what is the expected cost?

and can you recommend me which acc shops that can do this?

then i open it myself , put some double sided tape, then it is now gone. laugh.gif

actually any car garage can do it, it is all about the money. dont know how much they will charge you.

no not the aircond vent couse my relative has claimed the warranty for it and changed it at proton, but the rattles are from the dashboard itself, btw any other gen2 users facing this problem? his car is gen 2 cps btw

extractor @ header just plug n play.. relocate the lambda @ O2 sensor at the end of the header (don't have picture to make u clearly understand.. but i hope u understand kot?)

see the skru there? thats the original position of the O2/Lambda sensor.. relocate it below the extractor pipe (before nenas).. some say its not necessary, but for me and other(s) if agree ngeh ngeh, the sensor can read everything (in term of exhaust thingy which shazmn can explain more coz i learn from him and our pomen too) efficiently..

hope u can understand kot???

tak perlu rewiring.. wiring O2 tu dah cukup panjang dah macam s@ni cakap.. if the shop ask u to rewiring, means they malas to adjust the wire length.. any shop can do the job, unless they lazy to do hahaha..

oo bangi.. u're using the 3feet bullet kan.. change extractor bro, baru complete power dapat..

just get my 3feet bullet but not install it yet..waiting for free time to install it..actually i'm going to use my stock extractor but need to remove the CATCON...sajer nak try stock extractor dulu nih..boleh blah ker tak... drool.gif

Kalau tak bleh blah baru ar tukau header baru..sajer jer gatal nak main2 ngan stock header 1st... tongue.gif

Izit like metal rattling noise?If yes,start ur car,when in idle try hold the seat railing lever(the one under the seat u pull when wanna adjust ur seat front/back).Mine the rattling noise come from there. doh.gif

Btw,my gear indicator light kong ready (auto gear).Anyone know how to open it up?i guess the bulb kong. rclxub.gif

Bro...i've open the meter actually to replace the BULB (sajer gatal tangan) but UNFORTUNATELY our GEN 2 meter DO NOT USE BULB..it is LED that come with the ELECTRONICS BOARD...means ONBOARD LED bro...correct me if i'm wrong sifoooooo2 gen 2...

change 4-2-1 cost rm250 with relocate sensor...

remove catcon replace with bullet cost rm100-rm150...in the end ko xkan puas ati sbb not fully utilize the power from the engine and u will go to change to 4-2-1...so total rm350...

good luck spending ur money wisely...just an advise klo xnak dgr pon xpe aku x rugi walopon 2sen thumbup.gif

sometime i tend to throw harsh words in the forum but seriously im a nicer guy outside kan ahlongOKU kan kan kan...reason being just getting tired with repeateing the same answer again n again haha...

u can use back ur muffler no problem...the extractor is the main component in unleashing the engine true potential...the midbox/bullet and muffler is there to complement the whole setup making it better but no harm for using the old one...

nice one bro...yesterday got aircond problem...go to workshop they said the aircond resistor (don't how to spell) kong already...change a new one it cost me RM180 include labour...

no lor..this pictures being taken a month ago when i just finish sticking the gear cover (the round one)...now i already peel it off coz it is making a lot of KEDUT2 kat tepi lor...3M DINOC CF Sticker from JAPAN..very thick one lor...

anyone knows how much is inner roof cover...mine already damage some said it cause by rear wiper sprinkler. they said the water tube does not fit properly so the water spills out and the board now really damage...arrgghhh...sakit mata when look at rear mirror

haiyaaaaa...my car got sound kikikikiki at the engine...i open the trunk and notice the sound came from air cond belt...maybe the crank pulley making the sound lor... rclxub.gif

I've never change the aircond belt...my mileage is now 110k...plan to change it by the end of next month...maybe be want to install the LIGHTWEIGHT CRANK PULLEY oso lah.. brows.gif...will find cheap2 one enough...JASMA brand is the most cheap i think...

its not the crankpulley kot.. its the tensioner bearing.. nama pun tension.. tu yg asik bunyi je tu hahahahaha

im using jasma lcp (lighten crankpulley).. using oversize lcp and what i noticed before is the oversize lcp about the same feel with jasma lcp.. that is wat i feel la, others opinion dono..

but the disadvantage using oversize lcp, ur bearing will squeekkkk louder while morning start + aircond on.. really annoying

vice versa with jasma lcp..

oversize lcp need to change to shorter belting.. jasma lcp no need.. just use ur old belting back no problem

if u want, siap pasang + barang = rm180.. at seremban 2 bukit chedang la tapi.. we can go together if u want.. u hav my number, just give me a halo..

Hi guys, just want to know for those who already change the extractor to 4-2-1 , do you guys have notice there is a hot air flow underneath the car?Is this normal after you change the extractor?Sometimes i can heard ki ki ki sound from front bonet,the sound like those taxi having.

dari pemahaman aku diorg nak gamba camna nak tarik o2 sensor dari atas ke bawah la...

lagi satu kejadahnya ko pakai oversize pulley? ada jual ke oversize pulley...dori2 punya custom lighten pulley pon lagi kecik dari oem size tu sebab kene pakai belting pendek...klo oversize camna plak nak pakai belting pendek... doh.gif

saja gatal hahahaha.. no la ahaha.. jasma lcp didnt produce the lcp when im looking for it.. nak pakai yg rm500+ tu eeeeee.. budget pulak.. so just sambar the oversize (smaller diameter + lighter) huhuhuhu..

but with my sense (still ok la my deria rasa) when using both.. i feel jasma just about the same feel like my oversize lcp.. i still kept the oversize lcp in my bonet wor.. can add +3hp if u put at the back of ur bonet hahahahahaha

oooooooooo..........OVERSIZE means SMALLER DIAMETER than STOCK one... sweat.gif ..that y i'm supprised coz ur using OVERSIZE PULLY but can used SHORTER BELT...

OVERSIZE means SMALLER by ahlong statement.. tongue.gif ...

hahahaa...this morning i've check mine...ada lor...the black clip (not a clip actually) function like a spring so when u want to open the fuel tank, the back clip will push outside your fuel tank cover...easy for u to reach it... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Hi guys, just want to know for those who already change the extractor to 4-2-1 , do you guys have notice there is a hot air flow underneath the car?Is this normal after you change the extractor?Sometimes i can heard ki ki ki sound from front bonet,the sound like those taxi having.

if u notice campro itself is a really hot engine by itself...

so by changing the extractor and removing the original heat shield u might notice the heat dissipated at the engine bay area might be a bit on the high side...if u said the heat is from underneath, that might be coming from the flexi-pipe area where the Y joint from 2-1 is and where the pressure is the highest since it is the intersection of 4 engine cylinder joint to 1...anyway in case u want it to be hotter, remove the floor carpet and u could feel the warmth of ur engine warming up ur leg as u drive laugh.gif

hahahaa...the TULANG ANJING remind me a few years ago about my car...i've noticed one noisy sound coming from the bottom of my car exp when i'm park the car...i step outside my car n try to push the absorber but nothing heard...the sound only appears if i sit on the car n try to make any movement...really annoying at 1st...

Went to PSC..they said it's TULANG ANJING problem n so they REPLACE it with NEW one n after that they tried driving around n said to me no more sound...unfortunately when i test it, the sound still there so i've give up n just blah...luckily the TULANG ANJING is FREE otherwise I KARATE that MECH neck la..

a few day later i tried to go at the nearest workshop at my home...just want to confirm the TULANG ANJING problem...the MECHANIC come n sit in the car n i said what that sound huh???with a smile on his face he said that sound one is coming from the HANDBRAKE maaaa....just release the handbrake n the sound will dissapear....cheh...very easy solution...n cannot do anything about it...

anyway thumbup.gif to the MECHANIC even though i dont know him.. tongue.gif ...n doh.gif to MECHANIC PSC ( Branch BBB sek 4 near PETRONAS)

open ur front bonnet, look from top u could see 2 area with + and - label where u could adjust it using screwdriver up down left right

Mine is not affected...no airbag,no auto cruise no air refreshner oso..oooo...forgot lor...my car got AUTOPILOT but some time oni...(my wife drive lah... tongue.gif )

Dont know if you guys gonna watch this ... Just video of me driving, accelerating, braking and almost hit a motorcycle (1:16)... lol ... anyway braking is kind of ..... how to say it ..... kurang makan sikit ... mine is m-line without ABS so ... maybe need to check with SC later when 3rd service (due next week maybe)

yesterday i round2 at acc shop...want to find Ultra Racing strut bar 2 point ...got 1 for RM120 including installation...

Cheap or expensive????any idea where can get cheap price??

Try to unlock car using alarm this morning, but nothing happens.
Then i saw no red blinking LED at the meter.

Can be concluded that my batt is dead already?
If i unlock the door manually, the alarm will goes on aight?
To reset the alarm = put the ignition to ON + push the reset button. Correct?

Any other steps to be taken?
Current batt life = 3yrs. yeah i should change it earlier sweat.gif

UR 2 point i dont know hav or not.. but 3 point got..

my suggestion, just use 2 point only.. if 3 point, when u accident, it will harm ur chasis due to the 3rd point joint at the wall body..

this is wat my pomen and shazmn told before.. using it last time and already sold it.. but its ur car, just an advice ok dude

If i unlock the door manually, the alarm will goes on aight?
To reset the alarm = put the ignition to ON + push the reset button. Correct?

Any other steps to be taken?

Our original doesnt have the indicator @ the side mirror. So if we install those with indicator (like S@ni), need to mode the wiring so that the indicator@side mirror works?

wiring wise if not too familiar please let those experienced to do it la bro...

if u use different size wire somehow the supply could be intermittent and could blow the led...

some case due to wiring failure short circuit at some small area create spark and end up burning the whole car...

of course it is good to DIY but some things better let those experienced to do it la...

1.Buy strut bar 2 point (Ultra Racing)...this saturday
2.Change the aircond belt n light crank pulley (Jasma sudey)..maybe by the end of next month
3.Mod the exzhaust to 4-2-1 extractor (wegow) n bullet (already got)...don't know yet...

Any advise or idea gen2rian???

i still remember the last time when i use cap ayam foglamp need to do wiring manually...every 2 weeks confirm bulb burn...no matter how fine i tap the wire and tape the connection it would always blow...the longest it stays alive only 3 weeks...

later on i got a 2nd hanp foglamp from a member and since then no more problem with bulb blow etc...

although the wiring might be small but who knows the consequences...

i've got no place to recommend la...go to those wireman or technician better la kot

they just want money.. buat ya can can.. but later damage other place..

i also agree but we can ask them to pay the damage they did but need to argue a bit la coz sometime they didn't admit its they fault.

DIY is better but need some guide n tutorial so we didn't make any mistake n will known better of ours cars too...many people don't have time therefor just go to acc shop n pay ler...

1st of all don't be afraid lor as long u know your right...2nd b4 the mechanic (better the big bos) touch anything remind him do it carefully n if broken/damage anything need to be replace new one but for me i skip the both step...i call direct the police...play safe... cool2.gif..dun wanna talk too much...balai cerita..

weh ampang tesco petronas hot place liao. cant do TT there because verytime i went there sure full. better if we TT at somewhere along mrr2 that is not so crowded with kedai mamak nearby so can minum2 liao.

why not at Bangi???a lot of kedai mamak,bangi kopitiam,old town white coffee,...a lootttttttttt of parking esp day time...at night oso still got parking space...

These day i oso lost count how many kedai mamak,restaurant makan got at bangi...acc shop oso like mushroom grow...sometime i don't know where am i even i'm living at bangi for 30 YEARS... rclxub.gif

weekend oni in seremban but not most of the time in putra height la no money to go back balik kampung every weekend so now 1 month at most 2 times oni going back to seremban

does anybody know if everco sunway open on sundays? or any exhaust shops near selayang/gombak area sell everco sflow? went to exhaust shop near my house just now only got pro one sflow rm280. need to change the muffler already koyak.

around gombak? if u noe where diamond square is, infront of it has seng chuan exhaust shop (beside BestDrive).. price dono.. i change my everco long ago.. almost 1 year maybe..

u can go to any PSC or SC to do it.. just RM30/rm50 only.. if outside i dont know.. if u have the tools, just clean it using WD40 and tissue.. afraid outside workshop will charge more expensive than PSC or SC..

just push the butterfly.. its really hard but i know all of u are a tough guy.. drink Milo alot hahaha

need to be carefull only.. really sharp inside there.. if already done polish ur throttlebody its really really sharp.. becareful son..

last time going to PSC and i saw their servicing 4 TB.. just went there talk2 with him.. he push it just to reach the dirty place then said "if dont do like this, how to reach dirty part maaa"

ok already installed everco topcat s flow at everco sunway. the price was rm380 including installation + 1 rubber mounting. i ask why so expensive? should be rm250-280. guy there say that was last year price, harga besi sekarang naik 100%. sweat.gif response so far so good.

next upgrade gonna be sapura abs and r3 springs. good combination?

btw i usually travel selayang-temerloh (Karak Highway) for work . so handling and suspension is important for me, even though i seldom go beyond speed limit. tongue.gif

Dear Ah Long,

Thanks for the feedback, i just got to know that Vison(TOM) in sunway is charging rm60 for throttle body cleaning, i was personnaly there looking at their mechanic service my friend honda eg, i didnt manage to do mine, cos not driving my gen2 that very day.

I'll check with my nearest SC for the price, by the way anyone got any recommendation in klang's PSC?

proride performance abs + 45/r17 obviously the height of the car would be higher...so no problem go thru speed bump...i know because i once try my friend 40/r17 summore still lepas all the speed bump no problem...

ori r3 side skirt n apron? all i know is side skirt satu set je dah nak dekat 900...apron dekat 400...spoiler another 400...that's why ppl opt for cap ayam

in terms of performance n fc wise 50 series a bit better but not that obvious la...launching i mean if u stop at traffic light and when light turns green then u wanna start moving that oso considered launching what...seriously 50 n 55 go different response...

dia ada pros n cons...

use 55 the sidewall is a bit thicker...car a bit higher above ground...performance wise still acceptable...but price differ by rm10-20

use 50 better performance a bit...price cheaper by rm10-20...car a bit lower to the ground...sidewall a bit thin...

can use stock absorber as the spring original design was made to be paired by a stock abs...

but if u wanna use short storke oso can...refer to ahlong posting on previous page got image of his ride with pro-ride short stroke absorber

if want to pair with normal abs can but afraid will became like me..
the OEM abs kong faster than it shud..

for my ride:

R3 spring pair with sapura proride la as usual coz already tried GAB, ejastebel..
this is the kind of abs + spring system the best for me now..

in my opinion, its ur ride and u will need a suitable abs + spring for ur daily driving.. if u hav friends with those abs (gab, eibach, etc etc) try drive their car and compare..

.. shazmn and 1 of our friend abs+spring also quite comfort.. dont know the brand they used la.. forgot..

if u ask me seriously GAB the best la...ahlong pakai salah pasang dats wai x sedap...then jual to our fren n pasang btol2 demm nice weh...

anyway my absorber back use stock stendet...front use brand 'WING' @ cap ayam short stroke...actually it comes from my dad's waja...since he change to 16" wheel with bigger tyre he wants to change to stock absorber...so i swap the absorber with him...

my brother inlaw dah try this tyre on his myvi.. i try to drive like mad and ermmm.. quite ok la.. listen to others opinion pulak later..

but if u want, try find MAXXIS VICTRA MA-Z1.. price rm170 - rm190.. if u cant source it, ask shazmn to buy for u if he want to help..

ohhh noo.. just found out that there is leaking at the driver seat front there, near the pedal besides the door...

anyone experience this before? any workshop to recommend to fix it? around kepong or kl area... thanks...

btw, my engine head i suspect bengkok already, symptoms: oil leak & overheat.. who wanna sell good condition head? or got kaki to buy new head cheaper than outside? pls pm me

clutch plate tuka bila ko rasa nak masuk gear da xleh ataupon bila shift gear ko rasa clutch tu slip...dlm erti kata laen bila change gear, lepas masuk gear n lepas clutch rpm melambung tinggi tapi clutch tak grip lepas beberapa seken baru dia tangkap...atau pon bila ko masuk gear je dia tendang or susah nak masuk gear...

setiap org berbeza bila masa nak tuka clutch...clutch oem stendet kilang aku mula slip 8 bulan lepas pakai mileage dlm 20000km...clutch tak abes tapi burn gila2 punya hohoho

sent my car to 3 workshops to check for the leaking problem..

the first one suspect is leaking from wind screen.. but after tembak air.. no leaking found.. they ask me find others..

the second shop too busy, said need to tear off the door to check.. will take long time..

the third shop dun not dare to tear off anything.. suggest me send back to proton sc...

wat u guys think? should i just send back to proton SC? thanks...

p/s: the leaking is at the driver side, put legs there..
