PSC detect knocking pakai PDT atau just dengar je bro? maybe head tu dah terlebih skim pastu x taruk head gasket yg tebal sikit..

makesure workshop yg buat tu tau berapa newton kena pakai utk ikat head campro ni.. bukan main rasa guna siku je..

suspek utama bateri la so far.. should be 12.5-13v.. btw, so far ku nye kete 12.2v da bole crank..
bila dah rectified nanti bro cari Pivot V-Capa yg pirate punya, leh guna utk monitor voltage battery bila on/crank kete & check alternator charging or tak..

conroe...i think oso the battery lah..u r using oto or manual?..if manual try tolak ar...if oto then need to swap the battery with another car...

Symptom starting car...

If u try crank but no sound or just a tiny sound then it's battery n if u try crank it n just got sound but the engine still cannot start then it is alternator...

Kalau ader bunyi KNOCKING kat engine takyah guna PDT or PADT pon..dari jauh dah leh dgr mcm problem IAFM...

kalau itu macam takkan la workshop yg skim head bro kite tu xdengar bunyi knocking tu.. pelik tul

overheat bnyk sebab...ni yg aku tahu..mungkin salah satu kat bawah kot..

1.Minyak itam tarak (leaking)/kurang....check kat dipstick ok ker tak...pepagi nak pi keje try check kat bawah kete...ader leaking ker tak...
2.Radiator bocor/air coolant tarak..
3.Fan Radiator tak jalan/rosak..make sure FAN RADIATOR berpusing at least TWICE to make sure ok.(recommend by MANUFACTURER)
4.Water Pump tak jalan/rosak/leaking..(kalau leaking bleh trace la)..kalau rosak jalan sekejap TEMP sure melambung tinggi..
5.ada org kater THERMOSTAT failure...Malaysia Car guna THERMOSTAT gak ker?..setahu aku negara 4 season jek guna THERMOSTAT nih...
6.Minyak kete AUTO kureng/takder sebab leaking tak pun tak tukar2..
7.Ader gasket engine yg leaking n tak ganti2..tu pasal minyak itam kurang/takder...
8.Oil sump bocor.

Btw,engine knocking u all talking about izit the "tet tet tet" sound that folows ur acceleration?

my gen2, front left wheel, everytime if got fetch ppl, especially heavier ppl...when turn, got some sound...smth like "KRUP! KRUP!" sound..any idea wat's wrong??

"tet tet tet" just like common problem with PERSONA...IAFM problem...replace new one settle....my brother PERSONA just went to PSC last week n replace it..settle..the IAFM problem sound like they said "TEPET" problem..

A car thermostat has two separate but interrelated functions:

1. To bring the engine up to optimum operating temperature as quickly as possible; and
2. To maintain the engine at optimum operating temperature thereafter.

An internal combustion engine operates best at high temperature, with the coolant in the cooling system typically above 80°C - 85 °C (176°F - 185 °F). Wear on the moving parts is reduced and thermal efficiency is increased. Lower temperatures result in increased fuel consumption and reduced engine life. Higher temperatures result in overheating with the danger of premature combustion of the fuel air mixture, also know as detonation or knocking, and damage to engine components.

To ensure that the engine reaches optimum operating temperature as quickly as possible, the thermostat restricts the flow of water from the engine to the radiator to virtually zero (a small flow is required so that the thermostat experiences changes to the water temperature as the engine warms up) until the engine reaches optimum temperature. The thermostat then opens up to allow coolant to flow through the radiator to prevent the temperature rising higher.

Once at optimum temperature, the thermostat controls the flow of coolant to the radiator so that the engine continues to operate at optimum temperature. Under peak load conditions, such as labouring slowly up a steep hill whilst heavily laden on a hot day, the thermostat will be approaching fully open because the engine will be producing near to maximum power while the velocity of air flow across the radiator is low. (The velocity of air flow across the radiator has a major effect on its ability to dissipate heat.) Conversely, when cruising fast downhill on a motorway on a cold night on a light throttle, the thermostat will be nearly closed because the engine is producing little power, and the radiator is able to dissipate much more heat than then engine is producing. Allowing too much flow of coolant to the radiator would result in the engine being over cooled and operating at lower than optimum temperature. A side effect of this would be that the passenger compartment heater would not be able to put out enough heat to keep the passengers warm.

The thermostat is therefore constantly moving throughout its range, responding to changes in vehicle operating load, speed and external temperature, to keep the engine at its optimum operating temperature.

hehe....yelah aku sayang ko......asalnya mmg pomen kat temerloh tu suh tukar head then meka tanya bebudak proton meka kata bole skim je head tu.....meka buat x btol rasanya......tu nk cari kat KL jek

aku suspect prob ni lepas aku serivice keta kat pomen cheras.......b4 this takde pape problem cantek je bawak....sehari lepas service tu yg kene overheat prob.....malam raya haji lak tu.....nasib ipar aku dekat

i forgot to take pics of my fuel filter. it is like... er... not so dirty as yours. maybe u r always off road
changed my fuel filter + oil filter + semi syn = rm15 labour only. the rest i bought it myself.

rite now of course clean,it is brand new...still shiny

could it be sin hiang at taman midah?
My dad fren got same issue with them. his blm overheat after service.
After checking, no engine oil at all

at taman tenaga near the pasaraya Mega.....maybe, bcoz b4 this never encountered any problem....
