but i'm never been there..the layang2 shop very popular n many acc shop got the supply from there..

agree...the handling between this 2model, i think almost the same..mmg sedap time cornering...
the power, maybe neo cps got more..the power to weight ratio, neo cps got advantage..just my 3cent..haha

aiyoo bro, dont go for hicam..
go for basic first..change the oem xtractor to aftermarket(wegow, R3,powerzone hotbits~depend on your budget) n remove the cat con first...
then add the s-flow muffler...
n there u will feel the change in ur car performance..i'm using 1.3 also bro..auto summore...
using the recipe from abam jenal aka shazmn n there u go, feel very happy with my setup now..been used for 2years...next project ganna add fuel pressure regulator..hehe..gonna to save my budget first la..

hoho..if hi cams better ask the pro like shazmn..for me, the hicam modification will go for higher stage n will take some serious consideration..
if the car for daily usage,better stick for light modification bro..hicam for daily usage, err like not suitable la..hehe, my 3cents only..dont know any further info..
maybe u can add the FPR,fuel regulator..have u install already??

hola geng...anyone know, when we should change(on what mileage) the engine-aircond belt for our gen2??...not the timing belt ya...


and for major service,mileage 45 000KM, what parts should been change??
~oil change-done
~spark plug-done
~drop in air filter-done
~ATF-done
~coolant-done
~brake pad-done

~any more parts need to replace??
b4 this,the first major service(25 000KM) i sent it to Proton SC..but the price+labour cost, aiyoo mahal woo...xtahan,so for this 2nd major service,sent it to local shop only,some of the part that have been change like brake pad didnt use the oem pad anymore,change to other brand...so this 2nd major service, change it according to the previous package one..so guys,any other parts that consider should been change??

haha..no lar bro..mine gen2 early 2007 nye model,almost 4years now..but i'm the second owner..buy it on early 2009..got the car n the mileage only 15+++km only..
very like new car..
n after nearly 2years used it,now the mileage 45+++km..so its time for major service..first major service on 25000km,doing at proton SC n just do it according to the proton major service package..its the package that been setup by proton, n it cost me about RM5++ at first..aiyoo very mahal der..but then the SC manager help me reduce and give special price (put away some service that not need to do) n free tuning for RM4++..

so for this 2nd major service do it at local bengkel only.so dont know which part more need to change.just change according and same as the first package like proton quote me at first major srvice..if refer to service book more, not all the same bro, some of the parts change different with the proton service package..n pening to read all the tiny dot in the schedule service table..haha..

yup,notice the label there got saying "use mitsu ATF"..but i think if the coding brand same as SPIII, will didnt have any prob kot.. brows.gif

but for this change, the bengkel(some sort of x-EON bengkel before this) using 4 setengah liter for my ATF..if proton SC just use 4liter only..n i tell the mechanic that proton SC always use 4liter n why use 4stgah liter??then the mechanic says will not enough..so just follow the mechnic said..why can got different liter for different bengkel??is it true gen2 ATF using 4stgah liter??dont overdose ke??

some of my friend using 5liter woo..dont know why the transmission so pelahap... sweat.gif

bro,mine got problem same as u,the leaking at driver seat floor..it happen once before only.after some heavy rain,happen when my car park in front of my college before..suspect the a/cond at first,ask the a/cond bengkel if my a/cond got leaking, but the foreman said if a/cond got leaking, the front passenger floor should been wet already.not the driver seat..
suspect the rubber seal at the door been lose out...so check back the rubber seal,cabot the seal back,n tekan2 msuk betol2 kt slot die...put some double side tape on the top of the rubber seal more...n didnt happen again for rite now..

n about the SC action, "resealant frt rhs door and w/strip" >> they change the rubber seal ke bro??what the resealant??

n guess what...drexchan said,Wira with 4g15 engine also can use piston S4PE..and they did it on this conversion..

bro, about ur engine lite on off when driving tu, my member also have problem same as u..rite now, his engine lite on je memanjang..
2 times doing the PDT(do at PSC), but the foreman said the car n engine didnt have any problem..
and foreman said this maybe come from ecu reading error..
from his case --> the problem come when the 3rd brake lite kaput,padam summore,he not using the oem type,using fancy type that can blinking..
then the relay from his 3rd brake lite disturb the flow current..this error will give signal to ecu..when ecu have detect, will give the engine lite signal,the yellow one la...
after correct that relay n 3rd brake lite, the ecu stil give that signal..didnt turn off the engine lite..so its ecu error..foreman said, if want padam gk,need to change the ecu...
n he said, most problem to 1st gen of gen2 engine lite on, come from that tiny problem of 3rd brake lite...

guys, got question here...
b4 this we normally hear about the PDT~proton diagnostic tool/problem diagnostis tool...
but rite now, i've found new term...PADT...what is PADT???

this inspection tool can be connected to laptop using wireless or usb port..n this tools have interface cable..
if PDT have at many proton SC, but these PADT service only have at major n big proton SC..

what is the function of this tools??can remap ecu ke??
any advance funtions from the PDT tools??
