Why there is shortage of MSI GPU in Malaysia? When will the stock be available again?

Thanks for the output. Kinda having issue booting up with that much of memory (apparently someone else in another forum had the same issue) After a while manage to boot up my system already so won't be an issue anymore

GTX580, GTX570 even GTX560 Ti hard to get stock. AMD side, HD6970 & HD6950 almost impossible to get, HD6870 kinda hard also, unless down to HD6850 Cyclone

Hah.. now MSI Representative also gone.. shortage of support also.. What a pity..

As for the shortage, it's due to many reason i won't venture into it. How about the users here post his/her request which GPU they are interested and we will advice which dealer has stock. For a better solution, we are still looking into it.

As for those you are having problem with our board, especially compatibility issue, you can always PM me or MSI-MY for Beta BIOS to try it out. Sorry that we did not update here as often as usual due to some other work commitment. But rest be assured, we are always here.

The 448 will only be sold in Europe and North America IIRC and won't be sold in Asia

PC Depot has stock. But i'll advice you to call them in advance. Another alternative that you can try purchasing it via Lowyat.NET Online Reseller in garage sales. Usually they do provide postage service.

Today, 15/12/11, MSI Malaysia received an rather unfortunate news regarding our MSI GTX580 Lighting from HQ. It seems that all production of the GTX580 Lightning series has been stopped because we are unable to get anymore "handpicked" chipset from NVIDIA. Therefore, that remaining GTX580 Lightning/Lightning Xtreme you can find in the market now is the last remaining "Lightnings" left.

The next stock will arrive on the end of this year

Both is not affected.
As the launching of NVIDIA 6-series GPU is near, there will be a pricedrop for the GTX570 but the next stock will only arrive on January next year.
