Yes it is an app. You can check some battery app in the market, I'm not sure which one but there are a few of them that can save battery by turning off something and whats so ever. I believe it is either BattExtender of JuiceDefender. Welcome to the club bro.

Yes it is Froyo. I don't think so. Tried it with mine but didn't work. Some people in XDA did report it is working by using an app called Barnacle.

It reads your CPU load. Meaning how much is the CPU being use while in a state. For example User 64.4%, it means it is using 64.4% of the CPU while you were playing with it. Idle 0.0% so no activity on the CPU while the phone is idle. So on and so forth.

CM 6.1, depends on the person. If you like Sense and cannot live with it then no, it is not better than stock. For me personally CM 6.1 is the best rom out there for Legend.

Guys, if you want to flash custom roms you need perma root. In that case Visionary temp root won't work. It was meant only to gain temporary access hence why it is called temp root. Here is a link to root HBOOT 1.01. Just root.



Btw nothing_nth, currently Alpharev doesn't support HBOOT 1.0 and above. Just wait for it.

The easiest way to install Android SDK is to download the exe file. Run the setup and open Android SDK. Install only the USB driver in the Third-Party add-ons and platform-tools folder because if you're not writing or developing apps or Android you won't need all those other files. Then you're good to goo. If you need help on setting up ADB I can give you some help.

Just download the exe files and install those I said above.

Are you on Windows? If yes after you have set up your adb, try connecting your phone and toggle the "USB Debugging" on. Then type "adb devices" on cmd. If there is a device connected then you're adb is up and running.
