Design & Construction - The Nokia N8 feels really solid with it's Anodized Aluminium, thick about 12.9mm and weight 135g. It feels really premium on hand, seriously! I love the design! I did made a drop test (of course with the spine case on), doesn't damage the phone, it's durable even after using it for 1 month already.
Specifications: To be honest with you, 680Mhz feels really under-powered on Nokia N8. Can't Nokia at least put ARM Cortex8? ARM11 is really old and limited. With 680Mhz ARM11, sometime I felt Nokia N8 have no room for improvement. Like in N8 forum nicolasbeh like to say, 680Mhz is not enough! and I agree with that .One more, 256mb RAM isn't enough, can't nokia add a little more? Other spec I think it's fine now, except the RAM and processor
User Interface (UI): I'm an ex nokia n97, and also ex nokia n900 and current Samsung Galaxy S and Nokia N8 owner. To me, Current Symbian UI feels old. The UX doesn't follow the trend now. It need to be simple and easy to understand and very customizable. The homescreen delay is really something I bothered. Why Nokia intentionally design it like that? We have seen some leak of the new firmware where there is no delay swipe homescreen to homescreen. I just wish the firmware could be here now. Add more, the settings, thank god I have some experience using N97 before and I know the roundabout when using Nokia N8 settings, but I tell you with honesty, the setting is a mess! It takes experience user to get used with it, but new user perhaps find it hard to go to the right settings. The settings need a better language (compare with android) and more direct settings like in Android. Simplified it more. And it need more eye candy to the UI. And please, no more limited size widget and limited homescreen.

Screen: AMOLED screen is nice, but why it doesn't have ClearBlack Display? N8 causes a lots of hype through the internet and it does not have CBD Display? And nHD resolution is really not good for 3.5" phone. The nHD resolution really limits the browsing experience and also when reading pdf files.
Camera: The camera is awesome for a cameraphone! 12MP with largest sensor 1/1.83 really give sharp images and it really made me not to buy digital camera now. Now, lets go with HD Recording, N8 have the best HD recording for a camera, but it does not make me feel not to buy a digital camcorder, still long way to go. The UI of camera is old, not user friendly enough though in my opinion, it need to be simple and easy. Too much settings sometime can caused people a headache. And for a best camera for a cameraphone, it lacks HDR like inside iPhone 4, anti shake features and pinch to zoom features. I hope Nokia could take advantage of the large sensor inside Nokia N8, cause there is potential in it, don't let it go to waste. Forgot to mentioned that audio recording is great while doing HD recording.
Browsing: The browsing experience using Nokia N8 is a pain in the neck. Even with Opera mini, it doesn't add my user experience. The javascript rendering in Nokia N8 stock browser is bad, really bad. The Nokia N8 stock browser UI is also bad. The browser UI need some refine, need to look more modern and simple. Should have 2 button at the bottom [ Settings ] [ Back ]. Also, nHD resolutions really limits browsing experiences. And can nokia remove the checkerbox? Btw, pinch to zoom is really smooth while browsing. And I wish there is Flash Player 10.1 but seeing underpowered hardware, I guess there will be no flash player 10.1

New Qt browser will be coming soon, but according to Eldar, it will be released these february 2011, so long to wait, sigh...

Ovi Store: Ovi store have gone through some revamp, and it really looked good. But, what bugs me, that I had to login into Ovi Store everytime I change a SIM card (or restart the phone), can't it be like when we login, it will memorized it till we change user? And Ovi loading is really slow, can't nokia just removed the login logo like what they did to Ovi Map? And one thing I would like to suggest to Nokia, is that there should be a notification bubble appears when there is an update for the application installed to the phone, it will be very useful instead of going to SW Update looking for an update.
Ovi Social Network: Ovi Social Network is still behind what competitors have offers. It does have lots of features but it is slow (probably because of slow processor) and lag. Scrolling sometime isn't smooth, it need some improvement. Social Network integration still lack the simplicity, and it feels heavy when using it. Sharing pictures/video to social network is good for now. And lastly, why do I have to login when I have login into Ovi Store? I mean, login using Ovi account for Ovi Store is enough, but still need to login into Ovi Social network? That's alot work to do. I suggest, when login into Ovi Store, you don't have to login into Ovi Social Network anymore since you have login into Ovi Store, you just need login into facebook or Twitter. And a notification bubble appears when received a replied from facebook would also be good, take example of blackberry f
Ovi Maps: Currently I'm using Ovi Map BETA from Nokia Beta labs, I don't get any bugs though. Ovi Map really improved alot since I sold my Nokia N97, locking position is fast and it gave pretty accurate information. Pinch to zoom is really smooth thanks to broadcom. And I wish Malaysia map to be more updated with added more of Point of Interest. The best free turn by turn GPS Navigation so far, And it have lots of potential, one of the best software from Nokia. thumbs up!
Application: I can see there are new apps coming to Ovi Store, so thumbs up again for attracting developers. Though apps is still in small number compare to android, I wish nokia could attract developers with their Qt framework. One more thing, can't nokia get angry bird full version for free?

Music Player: Nokia new coverflow 3D-like version is awesome! but what bugs me when u click a song, it popup a messege to play the song or not. Hope this to be removed, because it's not really user-friendly.
Picture Gallery: Simple and good, but UI need some improvement, need to be more eye-candy thats all. Video playback UI need improvement, but I think the current is good for now.
Battery life: Good, but not great. on normal usage with some picture taken, it can last nearly 2 days. With heavy usage (browsing, music player, video player, games), it can last nearly 20 hours. If N8 have 1500mAh, it would be even better.
HDMI output: It is AWESOME.
Software Support: Nokia is good in software support but, Nokia tend to give half-baked firmware for their first batch phone to the customer. Some people suffers "dead n8 issues", so far 5 people encounter it according to Nokia N8 forum in Lowyat. It's frustrating, and people outside knows it and probably avoid buying the phone. Nokia need to release better firmware soon!
That's all my feedback. Thank you for reading.
