i dont play a lot racing games and the only racing games i play is outrun and ridge racer 7 which i hope gt5 can provide me a better racing experience as from what i can see gt5 is the most complete racing games u ever get on console. cant wait woohoo

Auto blip - It blips the throttle on a downshift so the cars rear wheels do not lock. (heel and toe for newbies) LOL

GT5 should be contained in my Christmas list.

the two games you mentioned are ARCADE games.
so GT5 will be a HUGE departure from those two.

Hmmm...then be prepared to be shocked. Coz GT is simulation category while Outrun n RR are pure arcade style.
However, if u persevere enuf to get thru all the licenses n don't give up, then yeap, Gran Turismo is one of the most complete driving/racing simulation games available. For me, it definitely has taught me a lot about car tuning. Boring if just read from books or magazines. In GT, can adjust, then test drive, can see the immediate result on track.

ok me not much into racing but for gt5 i willing to tried it since this will be the best racing games ever get release for ps3..anyway i will be getting r3 first print

yep i would like to know what racing games can top gt5

the one that i enjoy most. I like BurnOut Paradise. fun stuff. Shift was quite okay too.

The phrase "best racing game ever", imho, doesnt suit GT5 because we all know it is far from Yamauchi-san final vision, the game still has flaws here and there.

But i will still spend tons of hour playing GT5 because i will definately enjoy it.

Just read through Amar's thread in gtplanet....looks good, can't wait! And he managed to get all gold in few hours time.... he post some info on those unlock cars also, so becareful of the spoiler alert if you do not wish to spoil your experince on that.

wow, quite shocked with the answer from bro evo... uhuhuhu.... GT5 is a simulator more than a RACING GAME i suppose but like GT5 long time already, simulator or a game, GT have a special place in our heart

gt6 is possible on ps3??? as gt5 already take so long to released and i dont thinks gt6 would be on ps3..

Yamauchi-san already announced on the 6/11 that GT6 already in development a.k.a things that cannot be put into GT5 will be carried over in GT6. PD has a track record of releasing 2 games per PS iteration.

PS3 its not at the end of its life cycle ( this year still got new games for PS2) - so to proclaimed something that you and I dont get to play it - to me its too early.

Added on November 18, 2010, 5:38 pmlol i like racing game. my range is from Mario Kart to Forza ( yes.. i play Forza). The simulator thingy, imho, GT series is still in the middle - since most sims racing games are still available on PC.

but the toughest racing game on Playstation is... Enthusia Professional Racing. it is so tough that you wanna smash your tv. You can try it on PS2
