System upgrade but bills are prompt,perhaps bills are not involved ! maybe in future bill wl be displayed on your TV and you must pay no more by post !

why so quiet already system ugrade is it ????!!!!!

Last year abt this time it was hoo ha and excitement abt HD launch and now in less then 12 months the silence here shows it has all died down all cos of dissappointment. The switch to Beyond for better SD quality as claimed turned out to be bullshit! Even HD sucks on certain channels.The excitement is over and the much awaited Discovery HD never came and so are other much anticipated HD channels. We got rotten eggs at last, but the anticipation still continues.......Maybe this December they might consider IPTV cos they want to be Number One, lets keep fingers crossed.

Bro u always make us crave for the impossible !!! Pls dont make us too excited we may go crazy u know we are starved with this thing called asstro ! 21.9 wow when wld that day come

Yes I agree, they see no reason why they should improve or listen to customers, firstly cos no good competetitors, mostly sleeping with licences,and the next been they hv full govt. support. See how they carry the govt via astro kasih, see how they claim credits for the UPSR 2010 via Tutor, they may one day be the nation's sole main broadcaster.

I think measat 3a is used to beam to India and could not be anticipated for local beaming. Bollywood tv seems to be an IPTV type of network not normal Tv

No idea ,but Bollywood Tv is u pay first then you get the streaming.

Its meant for IPTV, its just a matter of time when it wld be launched. ,

Have money will travel !!!! Not just KV but nationwide: Astro always goes nationwide.

Dont they work according to astro's instructions ? 393 is targetted to attract Malay customers even the trailer for it was in BM, so the other subtitles became irrelevant there, thats my opinion.

MUMBAI: The Malaysia-based Astro All Asia Networks (Astro) and Turmeric Vision (TVPL), the television company owned by Sanjeev Kapoor and Alyona Kapoor, is gearing up to launch food concept channel – FoodFood.


The JV between the two companies will mark the entry of Astro into the Indian media broadcasting industry.


The company is looking at FoodFood as the most "gastronomically loaded lifestyle" and entertainment concept available across TV, mobile and web.





The company said Monday the TV channel is scheduled to go on air in early 2011. It will be in high-definition (HD) and will feature Hinglish content that will be produced and packaged in India, making the shows relevant to the Indian audience.

NO wonder so much noise in FB cos no NBA so that means very soon it wld be a premium channel on astro !

Exactly ,looks like end of the day we are left with no other choicethen to dig deep into our pockets.,

If it was true 700mhz ( though sources say yes) to roll out paytv was given to YTL then its good competition for astro. They wld behave from now on at least Only competetion can make astro behave like wats going on in Spore between starhub and singtel, prices were slashed attractive packages were introduced and everyone is happy.

The govt is the culprit and shld be held resposible for all these mess,its still not late other players can still do business but I just dont know whats keeping them away! There are 1000 over worldwide channels.If singapore so small has two players going strong, and Indonesia with no control over satelite still going strong with a dozen FTA channels, WTF is wrong here I just dont undersatnd ! The govt shld not hv allowed any channel full control esp. EPL the FTA channels shld hv access to some matches, This are the results when u give someone a sole licence for over 17yrs !Start something now for RM50 for 200 over general entertainment channels like Sun DTH tell me if u say no market ! If u hv no b.... to do it return your licences p ls !

RTM ? They were supposed to roll out Digital but couldnt now talking HD ? To me end of the day Astro wld be number one and maybe the country's national paytv !

I think we already hv a national broadcaster,RTM ruled the nation b4 TV3, then came Astro which rules the country despite rain fade ! Megatv and Mitv failed in their missions and now unifi and YTL arent a threat or a treat either

Some Test channels hv test patterns now !
