does anyone know whether the Sky News HD feed available on Measat 3a, is it the same one as in the UK or is it an international version like CNN and BBC that is available on astro?

OMG Of all channels why Mustika needs HD ? That pack is a stupid repeat pack except for B4U !

Infact most of AXN and Food channel content  is simply  upscaled and without HD effect!

So we have to pay more RM10 to get this HD channel?

RM10? It RM20 for HD services. But for this mustika, we'll have to pay extra RM10 if want to subscribe it right?

Mustika is under subscribed, now  LCD's are given away for lucky new subscribers, the package stinks flooded with crap and repeats and  why HD for this pack and the subscriber base is small !

PEREZ of Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, wonders why Astro did not telecast the Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito boxing title bout for the vacant WBC Super Welterweight Championship on Nov 13 at Arlington, Texas.

"Astro have telecast all of Pacquiao's matches since 2003 but why leave out his bout against Margarito which was the biggest boxing match of this year?

"I called Astro's customer service but they could not give me the reason."

Kes saman Measat didengar secara timbang tara

KUALA LUMPUR, 10 Dis — Mahkamah Tinggi hari ini memutuskan supaya kes saman terhadap Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd akan didengar secara timbang tara.

Hakim Datuk Azahar Mohamed membuat keputusan itu selepas membenarkan permohonan Measat untuk menangguhkan prosiding satu saman yang mendakwa ia telah melanggar satu “perjanjian tidak boleh dedah”.

AV Asia Sdn Bhd, pembekal peralatan sokongan, menyaman Measat dengan mendakwa kononnya anak syarikat Astro itu telah mendedahkan maklumat sulit kepada Tele System Electronic, selaku defendan kedua.

Pada 28 September, AV Asia memfailkan saman terhadap Measat kerana dikatakan melanggar perjanjian tidak boleh dedah mengenai gangguan hujan, satu sistem yang direka bagi mengurangkan gangguan terhadap pemancaran satelit.

Azahar dalam penghakimannya berkata, walaupun tiada perjanjian timbang tara antara AV Asia dan Tele System Electronic, ia tidak bermakna kes terhadap Measat tidak boleh dibawa ke timbang tara.

“Perjanjian tidak boleh dedah” telah dipersetujui antara plaintif dan defendan pertama, jadi ia mestilah dihormati,” kata hakim.

Dalam prosiding ini, Azahar turut membenarkan permohonan Measat untuk menangguhkan prosiding saman itu dan memerintahkan AV Asia untuk membayar kos RM10,000 kepada anak syarikat Astro itu.

Azahar juga menetapkan 26 Januari tahun depan untuk mendengar permohonan AV Asia untuk mendapatkan perintah injunksi bagi menghalang kedua-dua defendan daripada terus menggunakan maklumat sulit berhubung produk berdefinisi tinggi kepada Astro Beyond.

Permohonan Tele System Electronic untuk membatalkan saman itu juga akan didengar pada hari yang sama.

Pada prosiding itu, Measat diwakili peguam N. Navaratnan, AV Asia oleh peguam RS Sodhi dan Datuk Mohd Hafarizam Harun, dan Tele System Electronic oleh peguam Datuk C. Sri Kumar. — Bernama

Even HD channels hv not being that pleasing, esp.the denial of Discovery HD, now they are busy with 3d again whcih I just dont understand ! How  many of us are 3D ready anyway even our HD sets are under used ! Money is all they want customer needs are irrelevant.

HD subtitle for all major languages in closed caption just like Asian food channel. And not like One HD.
