Hi guys,

I have Acer Timeline 4810T bought 2-3 yrs ago (once it is out in Msia market).

It has been giving me 1 major problem.

It always hang out of sudden, without any program runs except yahoo! messenger, microsoft outlook and sometimes with skype.

Previously went better (still hang, but much less frequent to happen) after sent to Acer. nowadays it seems coming back to me.. I wonder, should I just reformat it to Window 7? it has 4GB ram so I bet won't be the memory problem.

I dare not to reformat to Window 7 is because this laptop is company assets. Window 7 need to be bought originally by company too.. (this sux!)

so, any recommendation?

If you can afford to format the whole thing, why not just do it? Because since the Acer ppl said it's not hardware problem, a clean format would definitely solve ur problems...
