actually the blitz time is a bit longer than the time for which the bombs/1-2 fruits to appear..so say i start getting a blitz, u know that when there's moving arrow upwards on the background right? then say the next round is full of bombs, then i just gotta slash that 1 or 2 fruits...but the arrows will still be in play..and if you are lucky the next 3 fruits popped out together, quickly slash them and you keep your blitz.
in other words, the blitz is not dependent on consecutive combos per se, but rather the time from 1 combo to the other...as long as the time from 1 combo to the other is less than the limit, you keep your blitz (even if you slash 1 or 2 fruits only in between).
I think what he means to say is that, there will be a window where bombs pop up real slowly, and only 1 or 2 fruits will be thrown in the air at any one time. I experience that in almost every game in arcade mode. That is usually when my combo is cut short.in other words, the blitz is not dependent on consecutive combos per se, but rather the time from 1 combo to the other...as long as the time from 1 combo to the other is less than the limit, you keep your blitz (even if you slash 1 or 2 fruits only in between).
