Never Settle Senior Member 1,193 posts Joined: Sep 2007	I have a question to the top ten players on Game Center Lowyat. In Arcade Mode, do you slide the bombs to get the "Bomb lover - 50 pts" to achieve a higher score? So every game, you'll have a bonus of 100 pts in the end by adding the "No fruits dropped - 50pts". Most importantly, when u slice the bomb u got time and score penalty, at the end the bonus given will be discounted. p/s: how confident are you to make sure there is no dropping fruit every round? Below are some of the tips for all 3 game modes: Classic: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Patience is virtue. You should not rush for combo unless you are pretty confident there will be no bomb popping up all of sudden. IMHO, slicing it 1 by 1 but with fast pace can keep you going further. Last but not least, dun hesitate to slice although there are bombs nearby. When the game goes to later stage, you wont have enough time to slice it slowly. By doing so, you can train your precision (which will helps in multiplayer mode as well). In short, concentration, quick fingers and bravery are the most important thing to achieve high score. Zen & Arcade: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « These 2 game modes mainly requires 65% of luck and 35% of skill. Without luck, no matter how good you are in slicing fruits, you may just get a low score at the end. However, when goddess of luck is at your side, make sure to slice as many fruits as possible to get the combo. The more combo you get will lead you to higher score. Practise makes perfect and try to make at least +4combo points or above. Minimal +3combo points is ok but if you accumulate the total fruit combos you missed, you'll realised that it's alot. Arcade: IMHO, the best scenario possible where you can get maximum points is frenzy + double + freeze (in sequence) - 3 special banana at one go. When this super rare situation arises, please make use of the chance to make at least +9 combo points. From my experience, post game bonus from +9 combo points aka impossible 9 fruits combo gives you 50 point and +10 combo points aka 10 fruits combo?!?! will give you 55 points. If you managed to get those combo more than once, the minimum amount of bonus point given will be 20 + 50/55 + 50 (combo god). The highest post game bonus I ever noe / tried is 125 -which is twice ten combo (performed twice 10 fruits combo)-20 points + combo god 50 and 10 fruits combo 55 points Multiplayer: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Don't be afraid of challenges and be brave to challenge. Avoid trying to make every move a slicing combo. Moderation is the key else if you miss the combo you will lose the point. Lastly, be quick to snatch the white fruits. p/s: from experience of some other players and me- apparently if you managed to snatch most of white fruits, your blue fruits will appear lesser. Hmm... Most of the time I won't drop any fruit and secure the 50 pts. I rank the 8 or 9th because I couldn't figure out the combo thing. So, I'll get 50 to 55 points if I get 9-10 fruits combo but the key is that I can only do this once in every game? Current high score is his 800, my 786 and bem69 785 btw...combo god is definitely worth more than ur bomb lover and no fruit dropping because when u get combos, u get bonus after you combo bonus and subsequently will be rewarded after game bonus too.
