LOL, true. Maybe this is why people kept on asking how come can carry that heavy lens and walk all over. Haha!

No, best way is to calibrate your monitor to the standard color space.

Woah D3+70-200+SB900  drool.gif Would be very heavy. celciuz usually carry gears of that weight too right? I salute  notworthy.gif My dad carried my D90+SB900 today, he complains about the weight already. That's without the grip and other battery!  sweat.gif  doh.gif

iPhone 4 pic spam. The camera is really nice, sharp for a phone. Low quality from FB smile.gif

D90 instead of D3 haha~ although I did use D3 and D3s for events before tongue.gif.

Basically D90 + 70200 + SB900 versus D3 + 70200 + SB900.. very negligible differences between both in terms of weight. Heck actually the D3 combination handles much better!

Added on November 13, 2010, 9:46 amStill no action from my own 85mm sad.gif

Spam pic from last weekend testing out friend's and then poisoned dry.gif.

Too bored, so wanted to compare the bokeh between 85 and 70200 on D90 (DX sensor).

Same WB settings, but the 85mm more reddish so I had to adjust the hue.

Yeah, the DOF in 85mm f/1.4 is thinner. But the background both already bokeh till that level can't see much differences LOL. Maybe should try with a candle light source at the back tongue.gif. Then can see some light bokeh.

Slurp >_< LOL.

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Nov 13 2010, 02:44 PM)
I think nearly the same bokeh and DOF for 85mm at 85 1.4 and 70200mm at 200 f2.8. Or it is my eyes hmm.gif

Just wanna see smile.gif 200 on the left and 85 on the right.

Actually if you see the wordings on danbo that's the differences LOL. I think the background too dark to see anything :S.

Just got back, managed to play with D7000!

But kinda disappointed with D90's focusing with the 85mm wide open! When shoot close up still ok. But when shooting further away some is not sharp sad.gif. Didn't nail the AF tsk.

First time use prime ? This is quite normal ma.

First prime -> 50mm f/1.8D. But then again, I have 7020 and 1635 to use before this so didn't use the 50mm much.

My only issue with a prime is the way it holds, feels weird suddenly holding a short lens, after playing around with my kit lens for the last 2 months. tongue.gif
*
After very long time, I hold 18-105 once more, felt that lens very tiny compared to the rest tongue.gif.

But haih, dunno is it 85mm's fault or the body fault.

hahaha limitation of prime lens.. but that's why they're so generously sharp when in the right spot/distance..

That's why some sifu says primes make you less lazier and use your feet to do the zooming. tongue.gif

I'm not used to primes dry.gif. I use zooms all the while. This is probably the first prime I use more.

Was shooting stage event yesterday, was not used to shooting center AF then recompose -.- A lot of moving shots can't take with my 85mm T_T. Too damn slow if I shoot them walking with AF-C due to no AF assist from my SB900. Was switching between 70200 and 85. Can't make up my mind LOL!
