No, best way is to calibrate your monitor to the standard color space.

Stick to D90 and get lens! Like what I'm doing haha~ (until the replacements are announced )

D90 instead of D3 haha~ although I did use D3 and D3s for events before .

Basically D90 + 70200 + SB900 versus D3 + 70200 + SB900.. very negligible differences between both in terms of weight. Heck actually the D3 combination handles much better!

No test subject for my 85mm T_T. Tonight cousin's wedding, might bring my D90 + 85mm along . Time for some low light performance. But worried later they ask me take group pics then I need stand at the other side of the hall

Same WB settings, but the 85mm more reddish so I had to adjust the hue.

Yeah, the DOF in 85mm f/1.4 is thinner. But the background both already bokeh till that level can't see much differences LOL. Maybe should try with a candle light source at the back . Then can see some light bokeh.

Actually if you see the wordings on danbo that's the differences LOL. I think the background too dark to see anything :S.

Ya lor, that day in the event. Was trying out friend's 85mm. Then one of the participants is my friend asked me to take a group pic for her.. like 7-8 ppl. Initially I see 4 only so is ok.. then later got 7-8. Walao -.-

Just got back, managed to play with D7000!

But kinda disappointed with D90's focusing with the 85mm wide open! When shoot close up still ok. But when shooting further away some is not sharp . Didn't nail the AF tsk.

First prime -> 50mm f/1.8D. But then again, I have 7020 and 1635 to use before this so didn't use the 50mm much.

._. Close object ok, but further objects all gone case.

After very long time, I hold 18-105 once more, felt that lens very tiny compared to the rest .

But haih, dunno is it 85mm's fault or the body fault.

Normal for primes? T_T. Damn .

I'm not used to primes . I use zooms all the while. This is probably the first prime I use more.

This close I got no problem. Problem when subject is far, maybe 3 meter away or something.

Was shooting stage event yesterday, was not used to shooting center AF then recompose -.- A lot of moving shots can't take with my 85mm T_T. Too damn slow if I shoot them walking with AF-C due to no AF assist from my SB900. Was switching between 70200 and 85. Can't make up my mind LOL!
