QUOTE(newx @ Nov 11 2010, 12:56 PM) Hi guys, Need to ask one more question.... If I were to use DSLR in auto mode and compare it between D90 and D3100, would the pictures be of the same quality? Have to test with the same lens too.

Sifu sifu comment please...well, my photo just looks under exposure????? f/3.5 ISO 200 exposure time 1sec Nice colors. But if there's more traffic, then it looks cooler with the light trails. QUOTE(KIEN18 @ Nov 12 2010, 08:02 AM) thank you. it's not that busy by yesterday. Added on November 12, 2010, 8:03 amaperture should be? F8 or?? haha..senget d ah? Smaller aperture then you can get deeper depth of field, so more things in the distance will be in focus. The use your shutter speed to get the better nightview effect, and bump up ISO.

QUOTE(edwardgsk @ Nov 12 2010, 11:05 AM) I tried, it flies away Then when i wanna walk away, it flies back there same spot Leave your camera there, hide somewhere, then when it flies back to the same spot, trigger the shutter remotely

Speaking of LCD,
Is there such thing as calibrating the LCD monitor to the camera?
I don't know. The thoughts just came to me all of a sudden.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 13 2010, 12:43 PM) No test subject for my 85mm T_T. Tonight cousin's wedding, might bring my D90 + 85mm along . Time for some low light performance. But worried later they ask me take group pics then I need stand at the other side of the hall Hehe.. I feel you bro. Btw, just bought myself an early Christmas present: This is my very first time using a prime, so kind of noobiesh and the pic is *slightly* not so sharp... Learning to use this baby But heck, f/2 under low light condition is brilliant. p/s: Saw 2 customers buying a brand new D7000 today at RM4.7k (with kit lens) This post has been edited by geekster129: Nov 13 2010, 04:48 PM

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 13 2010, 04:42 PM) Ya lor, that day in the event. Was trying out friend's 85mm. Then one of the participants is my friend asked me to take a group pic for her.. like 7-8 ppl. Initially I see 4 only so is ok.. then later got 7-8. Walao -.- That reminds me of an event that I was assistant the main photographer. He was lugging 2 teles, IIRC, and the guests asked him to take the group photos. Then he pat on my shoulders, "Bro, can you please help me with the guests?"

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 14 2010, 08:03 PM) Just got back, managed to play with D7000! But kinda disappointed with D90's focusing with the 85mm wide open! When shoot close up still ok. But when shooting further away some is not sharp . Didn't nail the AF tsk. my 50mm is already like one wild animal for me learning to tame it... If 85mm f/1.4...

My only issue with a prime is the way it holds, feels weird suddenly holding a short lens, after playing around with my kit lens for the last 2 months.
