@goldfries: When he says automatically, I was thinking about Nikon's new feature. Autofocus will track the subject constantly.  tongue.gif I never liked that feature. Always seem to absorb sound from the lens when it is focusing.  sad.gif Can hear transformers sound when you play back the video.

The correct term should be called continuous auto focus.... very nice if the can bring it to 550d.... but i'm not very happy with the voice recorded with the built in mic... the AGC (audio gain control) just not very nice... Zzz...

Hello Experts..

Some advise needed..

I intend to buy 550d body and 18-200 IS..
However it seems that if i were to buy them separately, 60D Kit III with 18-200IS is cheaper..

Might sound like a no brainer but should i just go for 60D Kit III Or should i get a sigma 18-200 IS with 550d instead?

Both options are within my budget...

Thanks!
*
If budget allows go get the 60D with kitlens III... 60D is also known as Super Rebel... extra features.. If u get canon kitlens u no need to fear the back/front focus of the 3rd party lenses... Since 60D didn't offer micro-adjustment like it's predecessor, the 50D

anyway guys, shld i go for 60d or 550d? well i'd go for 60d, but budget constraints may arise..so 60d 18-55 or 550d 18-135? the swivel screen and dedicated buttons abv on the 60d makes it very very attractive but with the 18-55, i think im quite limited but shld i buy like that first then upgrade or what?

Do you want the new function of 60D? articulate screen, faster shooting, more sensitive af.... If yes then go for it... Lens can buy later though as body u will stick to it for few years... my dua kupang la... do scold me if i'm giving the wrong advice...

Guys, I've just bought the Canon 60D with kit lens... Total noob in photography in the sense of settings but I so have an idea of what kind of shot and style I want.. what is the best way I can convey this message to my camera? Do you guys learn from reading books, taking courses, or just total trial/error non stop practice? I'm not looking for short cuts, easy way out or anything.. wanna learn the proper way with dedication.. Just point me in the right direction plz...

U can read Digital SLR and DCM magazines... But at the end of the day, trial and error is the best as you will learn from your mistakes... just my dua kupang.. haha..
if not set P-mode.. Shoot all the way u want.. haha...

ISO control in Canon 550D really amazing! Wahhhhh!

Shot at ISO 6400.

Actually 550D noise control is really good.. (nearly one of the best for APS-C sensor)
And normally we print small pictures.. so noise? apa tu? nearly invisible on a 4r printing...
my dua kupang though
