May I know why still consider 17-40 when you have 17-50 f2.8? The picture quality of both really that big difference?

why do u nid  17-40 since u already own a tamron 17-50

Don't waste your money on 17-40f4L.
It is for FF not for cropped.

I find it funny on the ppl using 1740f4L with cropped body.
The lens range is short, f4 is small, not sharp and expensive.
Maybe it's the weather sealing feature they looking for.

I was in the situation before.
I choose the 17-40 L simply because I plan to upgrade to full frame, (2 more months !!!)
Of course you can get the 10-22 first and sell it off when you upgrade.

Funny also on one hand complain neck pain from weight.. and then on the other... all wanna use big big camera

Warranty wise, is it 1-yr international coverage? Can I send to local distributor when it comes to warranty claim?

I've read about the inconsistency in Sigma's QC, especially bad focusing. Any idea if Sigma's local distributor will help to calibrate the lens if I were to purchase from TinCheung?

Today is 16th day of Chinese calender. FUll moon outside now. I try snap a few picture but i can't capture the moon detail. What setting i need to get the moon sharp and detail? I using canon 55-250 IS lens. The 3 picture below zoom at 250mm

oh, i test before, i set to "10", it take about 18-20 photos after countdown 10sec.
I tot can set how many pictures will take after the countdown.

Thanks! Still learning, most of my shots were underexposed(using Av) but since i'm shooting in RAW so, not so bad la Also noticed that i need to keep changing my flash exposure compensation. Due to inaccurate TTL or it's like that?

My next picture Will upload more when i upgrade my flickr pro account later. I need 18mp of goodness!!
