Sincerely i don't have an idea since none of above suits me...
Floor plan for u'r own house supposed to be u'r own preference. 1 more thing u need to take into consideration is the route of the cold water piping, hot water piping, sewerage pipe, floor trap, type of WC u use, type of sink, tap, shower head etc..
It is not easy by sketch it ... it must be on site measurement...btw mine master toilet is 7'X11' +-

i would take bottom left plan as it will create more space. U can put ur towel bar next to your shower and it will not touch ur W.C. Basin and W.C near ur door would be convenient for you if u wan to jus wash ur hand. Shower near the window would be better for ventilation. After shower, jus open the window if u do not have an exhaust fan.

If your door changed to sliding door, will be even easier and saves more space.

Top left would be my pick. Piping would be easier and more straightforward. Pathway is clearer for traffic walking in and out. You can put your towel rack on the right side, right across your shower. You can have a simple shower screen that divides your shower area and the WC.

Yes, I also like this one but only 8' not enough space for sink, wc and shower in a line...if really do so, seems like too pack, isn't it? Added on November 4, 2010, 6:21 pmHow about this one? If next time want to install bath tub also got available space for it... This post has been edited by edwardsiow: Nov 4 2010, 06:22 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

i like the last one - but why not swap the door to open outside for a small bathroom? i did that with the common bathroom and it really allows a lot more space to put towels and whatnot. can even place some hooks then

It's all up to how's your lifestyle.
In realife I'm a tourist guide & stays in hotel more than any other people. I'm have a system when I walk into a toilet. Think of what U do & how U move daily. Pick one that would fits U best.
As for me the words for it is WET & DRY toilet. Perhaps it's okay for everthing to goes WET. Today's lifestyle most of the people prefers only a small part to get wet & the rest stays dry.
I require a Table Top Basin. What do U do in a bathroom? Shower 10min, WC 10min, Most of the time in front of the mirrow. Shave, do ur hair, Check ur face,
My rules: Hot shower gives steams... Get it out - vantelation fan Mirrow - Light/storage WC - Good cleaning, water point, bidet spray.
Always remember to have a water point for U to pick up water to mop ur floor

Base on me, i will choose bottom right. Just simply because sink near door, you can wash your hand just a step in from door. Shower in a corner, then u can fix squre shower screen to saperated dry and wet area, and the WC faxing out to a space, that more nice to 'sit' there which no blocking when u sit down.

my choice maybe not the best one...I choose the upper right..
I like the sink and wc side by side to create more spaces and I plan to install a corner round shower screen at the corner if affordable...
Now I understand that bathroom side shouldn't be square...this is ground floor bathroom..For second floor bathroom and master bathroom, I will avoid to design a square floor plan for bathroom..
anyway, thanks for above friends...their ideas are superb...
