The brochure didn't state including bedroom. Must check S&P. Hardly we can see this brochure flaw when we bought the house.

But the S&P already stated clearly, then we can complain to tribunal.

Are u phase 5 owner also? Did the S&P stated it is porcelain tiles?

i'm a phase 5 owner.. let me go back and check it out from the s&p...
my wife's boss knows one of the MD from Acmar and she also bought a corner unit from phase 5... if something wrong with the unit from what it should be.. i'm sure she will complain 99 one.. she is those not easy going type of people...

if my memory serve me right... 1st floor family hall should be using 1.5x1.5 tiles... really have to check the s&p...
how you manage to get in the site of phase 5 to view the house??

S&P stated 1st floor family hall  & 4 rooms also 1 x 1 porcelain tiles.

Ground floor living hall till dry kitchen 1.5 x 1.5

just checked on my s&p.. living room, dining, dry kitchen, 4 bedrooms clearly stated "Polished porcelain tiles" but didn't stated what is the size of the tiles... feel cheated...

I go there at 6pm, just walk in and tell the guard and then they will let u in, our standard Malaysian body language, just tabit to them and all get thru. In the brochure says is porcelain tiles.

Unless there is clauses stating in PAM ( Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia ) the different between "Procelain" & "Ceramis" otherwise at what "base" you go and argue with developer ?

As I know 1'by 1' are ceramic only. Porcelain for bigger tlles ie 2' by 2' onwards.

Anyone please try to post a picture of the problem instead. We can discuss about it.

I had log a official complian to Acmar. They say will talk to project manager.

I'm afraid that they ask me back where is the proof..

I'm not a owner or buyer for this project but just give my 2cent, hope it helps any owner or buyer. 

It is no point going to the project manager, as a project manager, he has already knew it.
The construction drawing with architectural specification laid down everything of what materials, sizes, colors, etc etc BEFORE the contractor execute the work.

Ask yourself how does the contractor got approval on laying the cheap ceramic tiles instead of porcelain tiles ?

This is sample of the 1 x 1 tiles from the site.

It's confirmed they use ceramic tiles.

I had ask some shop. This tiles already ex stock selling at RM1.80 for clearance and the problem is if one of this tiles broken, you may face problem to replace it.

i just went to the site of phase5 this afternoon... all those 1x1 tiles is confirmed ceramic as i did took a look on the sample tiles there.... at the back of the tiles clearly stated ceramic... about the 2x2 living room tiles.. i don't know how to identify whether if it is ceramic or procelain tiles...

i met with the site supervisor... he told me that the developer wants them to complete the whole phase on end of Oct... but according to him, it is impossible... the fastest he said will be by year end... now the are working 7 days a week to rush it..

btw, i received sms from acmar that they require my details for applying the tnb and syabas service.... anyone of you receive the same??

Yes, I did receive SMS as well. I think any complain have to wait when we all get the key & get RA to go to tribunal.

I did complain to Acmar, but they always no feedback. Always say the management will have meeting with main contractor.

frankly speaking, buying from this developer is like buying proton car. definately will find many lemon here n there. This developer has same reputation, so dont expect high 'quality'.

But reputable developer or not, nowdays everywhere also the same. U go other developer projects, they too have their own issues. As long as your house doesnt leak, crack, flood, or worse, abandoned like the klang ones, count your blessing. This is unfortunately the reality.

Press the project ppl hard to fix any defects. It is their job and responsibility.

And never regret your decision. It may not be a good one but certainly not the worst. Impiana has a good location, and you cant easily find one in puchong with the same specifications at the same price.

Agreed. RA is badly needed, current security is laughable for a taman this size. but heard that developer will construct brick fence (same to current brick fence) to enclave the whole taman c/w new guard house once phase 5 and 6 completed. Then we can have something like next door Meranti Jaya security, quite impressive. But that maybe another 3 or 4 years down the road.

This is where RA comes in. It needs to stand and voice up for the residents. Afterall, RA is THE residents.

If RA is inactive, then there is really no hope.

Added on December 27, 2012, 6:06 pmacmar website got putra homes 7 already. 2 1/2 storey size 40x80. this one is where? i tot phase 6 is last phase cause really no more land already? isnt the empty land beside meranti factory belongs to meranti?

putra impiana seems very aggresive nowdays. phase 5 finishing and phase 6 piling already started. dont think they will abandon our taman.... good, at least we will have high class residential area within.

Guys - The house in phase 5 are purchased with a high price RM450K to RM680K and we all do expect good workmanship, good landscape and good guard house.

Can we all bring this up to acmar so that they can provide good landscape around our houses? At least our house will look more exclusive. I have the head of the project telephone number in which you can make suggestion to make our Taman look good as corresponding with the price purchased.
