Nah the playing is ok, some nice tone you got there. What guitar are you using anyway? Straight into the toneport? A little mixing and a bass guitar and the track would sound bloody good.

I encoded it in both MP3 (1st file) & OGG (2nd file) formats, the sound quality of the OGG is much better than that of mp3 but if you couldn't be bothered with downloading a 19MB file, the mp3 will do.

Since it's 6 1/2 minutes long it might be draggy for some, nevertheless... enjoy! Comments and critics are much welcomed!

Thanks a lot for your comments, I'ill work on those 2 aspects. Yup, I soaked all the tracks with a lot of reverb, even the drums. Kinda give it a more ballad/80s feel heh. Another reason is that my humbucker sounds a little harsh on the treble side (Not that it's piercing, it sounds very raw), so the reverb sort of even stuff out lol.

I've heard your song some time ago, not bad. Perhaps you could add some variation to the melody such as vibratos/bends etc to keep things interesting. Overall pretty good.

I've heard it last night... not bad. The licks in the beginning could be smoother but other than that, pretty solid soloing and rhythmg playing.

I must say, it's a leap of improvement from your last recording. This one sounds pretty good, though you gotta watch out on the notes that you use. They're pretty unconventional and might not work all the time, however when used sparringly against the right texture/chords, they would sound great. Trying inserting some major/minor scales notes to inject the melodic/blues feel into it.

Not a bad effort for 'kononye to release stress'. Gd luck with your paper 1.

Damn, gotta love the thumping bass drum!!! Like you've said it, it's a great mix of metal and techno! Too bad it's kinda short, are you working on a full track?? Can't wait to hear the full one if that's the case.

Do expand on the techno part (0:14-0:42), it's very catchy and imo the highlight of the track. I always wanted to record something that's a mix of techno and rock, but never came up with anything good, and your track is really something I wish to do, cheers!

Music-wise, the songs are pretty good, could use a bit of originality though. Try searching for your own identity, even by bringing in different influences such as blues, jazz or even pop you could inject a whole new vibe into your songs.

I've only listened to 3 songs, Beth's recorded alright, but please lower down the levels on the orchestra/synth! Also the clean guitar parts are too dry and soulless. Even a little vibrato or delay effect could make it sound more professional, just don't leave it that dry!

Shades & Fall Back are not bad I guess. The latter has a bit of Creed feel.

Lastly, regarding your vocalist... is he trying too hard??? It seems that he's straining to hit every note... maybe he should relax a bit cause it sort of creates tension in the listener, that isn't a good thing, is it?

Your band is good and has a lot of potential. For a demo, it's pretty good and should secure you guys some gigs but there are areas that need to be worked on. Hope to hear more stuff from Greedy Jane.

Yup, try to relax a little bitlar hahah... and make use of dynamics, as in techniques such as whisper, falsetto, vibrato etc... fundamental things like these could make the songs more interesting.

The mix is very good imo and since I'm a newbie here, I can't comment or suggest much. It must have took you a lot of effort to get it done, I couldn't imagine your lecturer being dissatisfied with your recording. Well, keep it up!

The clean sound is alright I guess, I'm not a fan of active pickups and less so with their clean sound, it's pretty 'artificial' and 'unorganic' to my ears... I think they're best when played in distorted tone but clean sound-wise... I still prefer passives.

Remember the older clip you posted with the PAF-style clean tone, that was really sweet and surprised me as I thought it was the EMG .

Well it sounds close to a real bass. And I'm always up for recording that isn't a metal track, very refreshing.

Yeah right Ionian... Alright, I'ill try adding some chromatic notes to my playing to see if it could be jazzed up.

On normal volume it's barely audible, have to turn it up a bit to hear the track. Might need some compression on the overall track so it sounds better on average rigs.

Hey, nice pop trio you got there. I like the song Let's Meet Up! The instruments on this track sound pretty toy-like but I love it! It injects the fun factor into the track. And I like the vocal harmonies especialyl in the intro, kinda have that Beach Boys/surf vibe to it.
I like Broken Record Heart too... sounds like you guys are having fun.
