QUOTE(gizmoduck @ Jun 25 2006, 10:33 PM) Not the tele I'm afraid.. it has a pickup problem.. really bummed out about that.. Used the Epi Sheraton on Ibanez amp. The rhythm is a Mexican Strat (studio's) WaaarrrGGHH!! How am I ever gonna top Tulips!!! I see... yeah the tone does have the hollow-body quality to it, very nice tone... Oh the Ibanez 4x12 amp in Standing Waves studio??? Don't try to top tulips, instead try to write something different, it would be creative and interesting coming from your band especially.

QUOTE(joeboto @ Aug 19 2006, 12:52 AM) test it out. give comments ok? drums using fl studio 6. Haha I always wanted to record a version of it!!! Haha nice playing and tone, tho you gotta watch out some of your bends. Nice drums too and overall the mix sounds pretty balance. Good job! EDIT : That give me an idea... why don't we organize some kind of merdeka competition? And the player who records the most creative cover of our national anthem wins the comp? Less than 3 weeks to 31st, should be enough time gua? Anyone up for it? This post has been edited by led_zep_freak: Aug 19 2006, 01:02 AM

QUOTE(urbancrawler @ Sep 26 2006, 02:21 PM) hey guys i'm new here so just give some comments on this song. it's a remake of a yellow by coldplay. hope you guys like it yellow (remade)eheh sorry finding place to upload Sweet cover of the song! It susprised me in the beginning to hear the voices as you have the 'male' tag here lol. So, are you the ones singing or posting your friends'? Anyway, Yellow's one of my fav Coldplay songs and you gals did it very well. Love the vocal harmonies during the chorus and ending, though the main singer gotta pay more attention to the lower notes. Hope to hear a proper recording of this track soon.

If I'm not mistaken, the 2 girls are singing and playing guitars at the same time. I think the 2nd guitar's playing a few leads and arpeggios here and there. Not too sure though, hard to tell.

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Mar 9 2007, 11:26 PM) Check out my version of Sweet Child.... http://download.yousendit.com/6DE8E6C976E884E4Recorded just using the UX2, my trusty ZW LP and the GearBox modeling software! Hehe, got my UX2 yesterday and so far quite impressed by its modeling technology. Although the digital artifacts are audible, for amateur recording it's definitely good enough. And I recorded Sweet Child too, just now. http://odeo.com/audio/11304413/viewSorry I messed up the solo, was playing from memory. Nonetheless enjoy. (I also notice the track clipped in the beginning )

lol! Right. I wanted to do Little Wing actually, but the backing track I found was in Eb tuning, so I thought wth. How do you connect your UX2 btw??? I connect the analog output to my soundcard for monitoring while recording with the USB stream. Is there any better way go about, other than using the UX2 as my soundcard/sound playback?

Ahhh icic... mine's bloody stupid. I had no choice but to route one of the outputs into the microphone input for monitoring lol.
I guess your setup is practical, might get the Behringer mixer too.

QUOTE(valkyrie1232 @ May 17 2009, 07:32 PM) Sweet Tooth made some song with the Hatebreeder solo chord progression somewhere...I decided to fool around with my own improv. Kindly comment, thanks! Recorded with Ibanez K7 guitar and Roland Microcube amp with PC mic. Nice! Although lacks 'feel", it's clean and very power metal mou. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Actually it's damn 'feel', for a lack of better word .
