ebp > you composed that alone in front of your computer ? that really is creative, i like all the different riffs and how you make them all flow from one to the next one, without loosing the spirit and the energy. The rythm tracks are efficient and catchy, giving plenty of "clean" space for the guitar (= one wouldn't be distracted by the rythm parts, just sheer enjoying it

), and it's cool to hear all those keyboards/guitar layers bits all over the stereo space, reminds me of Engines Of Creation (Satriani). The "00:29" melody of the guitar in the middle part is exactly that : a great melody, with a perfect timing (for my ears... on a techno track, it's a must to fall RIGHT ON the beat, cuz the beat is so square and in-your-face ...). overall, you also have a great sense of making your solo sounds interesting, creating "harmonic" twists.
Now the less-than-great parts... the "background" stereo spaceship bit starting from 00:29 is a bit loud, and therefore distracting. The guitar sound is good, but it could have been better. It might be too "rock n roll" for that kind of theme ? Of course that's just MY opinion. It's hard to define exactly what should be the perfect sound here, but I would imagine it to be more processed, and smoother ? And maybe a bit more mids ? To give a reference, what about "Jemi's typical sound"

the last thing... the fast strumming guitar at the start is a funky idea, but "I feel" the second strum doesn't fall where it should, it's off the beat, and off the off-beat too, so it's disturbing. I'm a total failure when it comes to rythm, so possibly I'm all wrong here and I should just go home and listen to a metronom longer...

Anyway... refreshing, groovy, catchy blended with good technics on guitar and mixing... any chance you come around tahiti for a concert ?
