The SRP is RM6999 and Courts has stock. However during the previous Megatex, the launching promo is at RM5999. You can give Courts a call if you are interested.

Hi all, sorry for being away for so long, before i begin, special thanks to MSI-MY for helping out a lot in this thread tongue.gif..really helpful info there since a lot of people are worry bout getting MSI gaming laptop due to warranty but since it can be handled here then shouldn't be a problem.

Anyway, MSI-MY it's ok to post the price here, if u want me to update it over at the main thread do PM me with details and price and where to get it stuff like that and i will handle it tongue.gif

And Huyified, Daym! you really order! welcome to the crew!:P i will update your name later. Now I'm tempted to sell mine to replace it with the GT680R. Much more hawt specs. :drools:

Added on February 8, 2011, 6:07 pmAnd also thanks to sanko in promoting here tongue.gif..do promote as much as you want to lure more people into MSI gaming world tongue.gif
*
Yes viruz!! enjoying it now,but dissapointed in the fact that Intel's released of the Sandy Bridge has big issues, hence Ken Lee of GenTechPC told me to use it first until MSI makes any further announcements.

I'll try to post my pictures of unboxing this beast some time later on~! drool.gif

I don't know about u, but I'd probably send it I and change just to put the concerns on the back of my mind to bed. By the way how is it coming along? The whole feel of the notebook?

Added on February 24, 2011, 3:15 pmBtw guys, anyone knows how the gt680 bottom looks like? Cooler pad that I should buy?
*
Its doing perfectly, almost 2 months old now smile.gif.

I dont think u will need a cooler pad,it has 2 good ventilators at the left side and the back side.It has also a twin turbo fan key function, playing SC2 on 1080 med settings my GC's temp is at 70-74 celcius.smile.gif

Yup definitely something made by MSI,but I do believe they can come up with a better design for a gaming laptop blush.gif .Still, its only 2 months, still early for me to make any judgements sweat.gif

*
Ken Lee from Gentech PC agreed to offer me a free upgrade for the IC Diamond Thermal Paste XD,its a good thing to maintain your temperature.Dont worry, when the GT680 reaches your hands,im sure you will spend at least a few minutes getting things up brows.gif

MSI GT680 for performance-wise in my opinion compared to the m15...but TBH I was poisoned by the m15x by its design, luckily viruz helped me out with his advice and i got through it.I've carried the gt680 to my college in a sling bag and its already a pain to your shoulder.I could not imagine what will happen if i were to take the m15x and hurt my spine and my shoulders to a further extend.

For the guys out there who have trouble making this decision,m15x to go if you prefer the bling bling and design type, but gt680 if ur looking for performance+enhanced audio performance.Plus, you've also gotta think if you're doing a presentation in college/university/work,the impression of using the msi and AW has a huge gap..how so?Well, you wouldnt wanna let people see how "bling bling"your laptop is huh?For those who wouldn't mind then all I can say is up to you.If you wanna look presentable and ready to present a matured document,MSI definitely win this bet. There are always pros and cons in everything so you will have to consider every aspect you want and your seeking for smile.gif

I've been using the 1st version of the GT680R now for 2months and havent encounter any problems with it yet.Yes of course i took care of it properly smile.gif.Just a word from my mouth,I've been through some AW discussions and happen to see some people are suffering troubles with their AW product once they got it or something like that, somehow the MSI is just a good piece of work sent to your doorstep in a perfect condition.

The Alienware M15X was definitely designed perfectly and its an eye-capturing product. Also,I am sure most of us are attracted to its chiclet keyboard which has LEDs below it that allows us to customize the colour by using the AlienFX when we're having party to show off or whatsoever. But trust me,I've also heard that this LEDs spoil easily if you keep using them, you wouldn't wanna see your keyboard blinking as though a bulb had fused but some current still made it through and lights it up,making it look ugly,we wouldn't want that now do we? sweat.gif .Still, based on my experience of suffering the poison of AW,I finally see it through that what I really wanted wasn't a piece of artwork, but the quality in it,that is the performance+audio that MSI has build in this laptop, the GT680R.

Yeah Viruz,MSI's releasing the GT780 which will possessed the ATI 6 series or the Nvidia 5-series,technology....oh well :\,as long as I am enjoying with my GT680R now, then it wouldnt be a matter XD.

Anybody who's still confused between the m15x and the gt680r,you can always look up on reviews and how are the laptops doing so far in terms of long-term usage and its performance.A fact that I can't deny regarding MSI,is their embedding of Dynaudio's technology into these laptops. The audio is magnificent or I can say....EPIC smile.gif

oh? HAHA i never noe that..thanks for telling me..

GOSH! NOW I NOE WAT IT'S USED FOR ==..hwo noob of me..and i find that REALLY nice! though they cud have xplain themselve more clearly nxt time tongue.gif

anyway, regarding the weight..well try n get urself a comfortable bag..i'm using crumper laptop messenger bag and i find it really comfy brnging it around with me biggrin.gif..or u can opt for a good backpack..bags with those padding for u to rest u shoulder on can really help you avoid the "painful" feeling carrying a laptop around biggrin.gif
*
Sorry but I gotta scout informations from you XD.Are there any good lappy bagpacks out there that could fit this lappy and ur documents especially files and some thick books?

My sling bag just die off today, the strap broke suddenly when I realize my bag was way overweight this afternoon cry.gif
