Some1 here own that laptop, u can try asking him . But i tried it out during the showcase. It's quite light and nice to use. That's my opinion

as for the shipping processes. Cause when we buy high-end laptop such as the GX683 or GT780, it is quite costly here *as they fit it with SSD, 16gb ram and blu-ray drive* and we can't select which parts we want and don't want. Local specs is as mention above cost us about 7.8k. If you buy oversea from such as gentech, standard specs like 2x 500gb HDD, 8gb ram and dvd-rw. It cost you about 5.4k. With shipping about 5.7k?

Laptop = NO TAX
t-shirts = GOT TAX

these 2 are in different categories my friend . But if you order big amount of laptops one go, then custom might charge u though..

but through gentechpc, they dont ship in bulk..they will ship it separately. That was my experience when i bought mine. Bought 2 gx660r back then

i think that's normal =/..mid-high end laptop are like that..and 90C is not something to be VERY worry bout..so no worries . If you apply thermal paste..those good one such as IC Diamond 7, it will definitely bring the temp down

Bro, I was thinking of buying 780 this week from GenTechPC. My friend is in Dallas. Thinking of asking him to bring over to malaysia for me this week since he coming back but he cannot hand carry for me. He say he can only check in the laptop. I wonder is it a good idea. But i called ken and he say since that is the case he will special pack for me. I wonder is it a good idea, theft and fragile item, another issue is Customs/KLIA taxes because it's electronics. Should I buy online and ask him to bring back (check in) ? or should i just ask GenTechPC to ship over to my place to avoid all that? Just to safe $120-160usd and time is it worth to ask my friend to bring it back? Help please, not sure how this things works.

Going to racun my brother to get it instead. Could've got that instead but I'm using it for work as well and the GT683 already weighs a ton.
