Erm, need a quick guide here.

MSI gaming laptop for the price range of 2k - 4k max, which has optimum specs and best bang for bucks.

Photoshop and dreamweaver usage, mild to zero gaming. Mind reco me few models to check out? Thanks.

P.S - The lesser the mass, the better. I am kinda deciding with Asus and MSI still actly. Thanks for any pointers by sifu out there biggrin.gif

For MSI, there won't be much choice though. Asus got more choices. MSI arsenal have:

1) GE620-DX, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT555M (2GB)@RM2999, 8GB RAM

and

2) FX420, i5-2410M + AMD HD6470@RM2099, FreeDOS/RM2299(W7HP), 3 years warranty

As for the weight GE620 is 2.4KG and FX420 is 2.2KG..GE620 seems to be the better buy since it has i7 processor along with 8gb ram..good for rendering tongue.gif

Or you can check out sager as well..it's not eye-catching but the specs are good to drool for tongue.gif

check it out at illegear..local market for sager notebook..price wise is still consider cheap

Definitely. The gt683 is worth every damn penny smile.gif. Been blasting on it since i've gotten it. Surprisingly i can run most game on highest setting even if its a 560m card. The turbo a bit err.. let down. Doesn't actually boost much. HD 7? O_o.. too much racun eh. I gotta chill for a bit with the buying. Killing my credit card already. Btw, what happened to you planning to start your own business? happening anytime soon?

haha, i know how you feel right now bro tongue.gif..and i'll be waiting for hd7 if it release let's see what msi had in mind..first they came out with the perfect sound solution on laptop, then they came out with their gaming keyboard idea to challenge AW..i wonder what's next..

as for my business, not anytime this year..probably mid of next year? since im jz gonna graduate this dec..see how my plan goes..if everything smooth then i wont have to suffer working for others tongue.gif

most of us here who get our laptop overseas from America uses USPS (USP is the same right? O.o) our experience, well i would say they are really reliable..most of us receive on the expected date..

WireTT takes 3 business days, so let's say you transfer on Monday, The company overseas receive it on Wednesday, post it on Thursday then estimated 7 to 14 days to arrive..and most of us received it on the 7th day..at most 8th day tongue.gif..so i'll say they are pretty reliable smile.gif
