QUOTE(mengga @ Feb 24 2016, 04:23 PM) It takes me 2 days before I can install Apps from the US smarthub, after I switch the region. But the switch is worth it, just for US netflix ! Mine took only a couple of hours. I guess it depends on the processor and the ram also. Maybe higher end TVs have better ones. I thought that only 8 & 9 series have Octa core processors and the rest had the same Quad core. Your internet bandwidth will also play a role since the US region has many more apps compared to the default region and there are many pre-installed apps for US region (apps you cannot remove). I have a 30mbps fibre connection so I'm sure that helps.

QUOTE(t1231 @ Feb 26 2016, 11:07 PM) hi all sifus, i have been using an ordinary Toshiba LCD tv for 4 years, and now the screen starts to have lines and blurry. if it is too costly to repair, i'll need to buy a new one. i'd be lloking for a 40 to 42 inches smart TV, with LAN connection so that I can watch all the youtubes and movies from the internet. FHD 1080 is preferred (but, do they still make 720 and below LED tvs?), 4k not necessary-unless if it is cheap. Of course, most importantly, the colours should be accurate, with good black level. If you have any Samsung models that have these qualities, please let me know the model and price. TQVM....... :-) What is your budget? Not many good tvs available at that size anymore. Mnufacturers are moving to bigger sizes and 4k.

QUOTE(t1231 @ Feb 27 2016, 04:04 PM) I saw lazada selling from 24' to 60" or above: http://www.lazada.com.my/shop-smart-tvs/?s...&dir=asc&page=3my budget should be below 2.5k. buying too big scared living room not big enough. Got sell doesn"t mean its good. If anything goes just pick one that suits your budget and be happy. What is your reason for asking here anyway?

QUOTE(IvanWong1989 @ Feb 6 2018, 05:16 PM) Nope not those. Those are ambient light based. I've turned those off haha. Frame dimming works on the same purpose as local dimming. To make blacks blacker. From what I have read before, Smart LED = UHD Dimming. Eco Sensor should be ambient lighting. Check it out.

QUOTE(mineSweeper @ Mar 9 2018, 05:04 PM) How do I check what resolution I'm running on the MU6100? The info doesn't seems to work. The browser is definately running at 1080 and I suspect the menu and all built in apps are running at 1080. How do i change everything to 4k resolution? Everything will be upscaled to the tvs native 4K resolution.
