Feet, meters, FOV, inches, resolution, comfort zone, bla bla... Last last, it's up to room size, requirements and BUDGET! Playing true 4K+HDR on a 60" 9 series is still far better than on a 85" 5 series. Whether sitting 6ft away or 12ft.. I say, judge your room size, lighting conditions, budget and with your eyes make a decision. My 2 cents.

does 4k tv makes fhd movies look bad? like not as sharp? my main content is 1080-720p

How about 49"? i'm eyeing on the UA49MU6100. It is within my budget as well  and most of all it is non curved. Not a fan of curved display

My friend experience 2-3times broke in a year... Repair took a month+ each
But Sony dont have bluetooth and is just an internet tv.. worth it?

Too many uncertain. Top bezel bend a bit, almost center near the vertical line. Back cover pop up a bit on both side. Not sure the Samsung can fix the bend, i guess should be easy.

It's a good tv with good price.

Kinda stuck between two 65" models:
KS7500
MU7000

I gather the former is better than the latter. Ideally I'd prefer flat rather than curved, but given these two choice, which out do you think I should go for (and why).

Thanks guys, but regarding Dolby Vision - the LG's panel is only 10 bit, how does that jive with DVision's 12bit specs? Feels like it can't show DV media in its true glory...

Oh, btw anyone knows how the 2+3 or 2+2 warranty works? If there are no parts after 4 yrs, do we get a TV of the same value we paid when we bought it, or a depreciated value? I see 11street selling with warranty options, but no info on what the warranty covers...

just called again the store, actually the model is a display set, about 3months old, they offerred rm4,599 with 2yrs warranty. any idea guys? what do u think of the floor tv? tq

what is distance of your seating towards the TV? it will determine your view.
