Alexis Sanchez's agent insists
that Manchester United are still on the Udinese winger's trail.
The Red Devils have long been linked with the Chile international, and were understood to be monitoring the situation when he moved to Udinese.
An excellent showing at the World Cup finals further boosted Sanchez's already burgeoning reputation, which saw him linked again to Old Trafford.
His agent has now confirmed that the Premier League giants are still on keeping tabs on the player.
"Manchester United has been following the performances of Alexis since some time ago and it could be a possibility in the future," Fernando Felicevich confirmed.
Felicevich admits that a move to England is an attraction, saying: "The Premier League would be a good destination for Alexis as he is young, strong and very fast, something very important for being able to have success in that league."
However, Felicevich was quick to deny that a move was in the offing.
"I do not think the time is right to talk about transfers. Udinese must now focus on playing well. These things belong to the newspapers," he added.
"We shall see the status of Alexis is in June when the season ends, but he is well in Udinese."
Suazo
Meanwhile, Felicevich's links with United has led to speculation that another one of his clients, Humbeto Suazo, could be on his way to Old Trafford.
However, Suazo's club Monterrey have been quick to deny the reports.
"There hasn't been any approach from Manchester United, neither with us or the agent of the player as he hasn't said anything to us," Monterrey president Jorge Urdiales said.
"This happened some weeks ago and I am personally upset because it makes the player get distracted.
"I would take this as simple speculation from someone. The agent of Humberto hasn't said anything to us and the player is calm and happy here in Mexico.
"If something real appears we will pay attention to it but for the moment it's only a rumour, information that looks like it has been taken from a website or a newspaper.
"It doesn't deserve to get too much importance from us because it isn't something normal and we can't handle rumours or speculation. We only handle serious and official information.
"This isn't the best moment for talking about things like this as we don't want the player to get distracted.
"Personally, I think that if a serious team like Manchester United is interested in any of our players they wouldn't be throwing out rumours, they would make an official approach, just like they did when they were interested in Javier Hernandez."
Manchester United's summer signing Bebe insists he is determined to grab his opportunity to impress in England with both hands.
The 20-year-old Portuguese forward was plucked from obscurity by manager Sir Alex Ferguson from Vitioria de Guimaraes following a fine pre-season with the club.
Bebe is proving his worth after scoring in back-to-back games after following up his Carling Cup goal against Wolves with a well-taken effort against Bursaspor on Tuesday.
The youngster was star-struck when he met his team-mates for the first time and although nerves got the better of him, he is not going to let his once-in-a-lifetime chance slip through his fingers.
Dreams
"Everybody dreams to come to Manchester United," he told Inside United magazine. "When I went to Old Trafford for the first time, I imagined myself playing there.
"I remember my first day of training. I could not believe it. I was sat in the dressing room and I looked around and saw so many famous players.
"I used to watch them on television and now I was there with them. It was nerve-racking for me. I think on my first day I wasn't even able to train properly.
"I always thought I would reach a big club but I never thought it would happen as quickly as this. Now I am here, I will do my very best to make the most of it.
"I want to play as well as I can and develop as well as I can to play for this club. That is my ambition."
Hairstyle
Bebe's dreadlocks did not go down well with manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who immediately joked that he should embrace a change of hairstyle - some advice he accepted.
"I met Sir Alex in England the day after I signed for the club," he continued. "He told me I had to learn English quickly and to go as fast as I could to the hairdresser and get my hair cut! It was like a joke. But I think he maybe meant it, too.
"I had a lot of difficulties in my childhood and had to go into a home when I was nine.
"Before that, I was living with my grandmother. But there were four of us brothers living with her and she had no means to care for us all. That is why I had to go into the home. I lived there until I was 20. When I left, it was to come to Manchester."
The chance won't be too far away if Nani is indeed ruled out against Wolves.
