Yeah left/top is N8 & right /bottom is Ixus 300hs. Actually not much diff..more depending on the angle taken. Ixus having the latest backlite sensor but smaller than N8 whereas N* using older tech but bigger sensor

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Oct 31 2010, 10:10 PM) Sometimes i wonder do u guys even look at the size of a DC camera lens vs Nokia N8 Yup, it's very good already it can replace the DC in many situations/conditions; no need to bring extra things.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « For more serious photography, can straight bring DSLR, if one has it. I guess the N8 just lack of more controls, especially touch focus which is really nice to have and already available on other camera phones. I'm not sure if other camera phones have those controls like Aperture Priority mode, Shutter Priority Mode, etc. If none have, maybe Nokia do it again by providing these features FIRST; If not, then also another reason why they should have it. |

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Oct 31 2010, 10:18 PM) Yup, it's very good already it can replace the DC in many situations/conditions; no need to bring extra things. +1 if u compare between smart PHONE N8 practically owns most of them. But DC is still a DC because Digital Camera only perform as a camera and your nOkia N8 not only perform as a camera but alot more things. Imagine the Nokia N8 the size of the Canon 300HS imagine u can have surround speakers u can have watever u say.For more serious photography, can straight bring DSLR, if one has it. I guess the N8 just lack of more controls, especially touch focus which is really nice to have and already available on other camera phones. So try not complain the output between a DC. As a cameraphone Nokia N8 performs very well just like our SIFU andy said its just lack of some features in the software Just my opinion haha or else ill bring DSLR as comparison soon lol my yum cha session ![]() Nokia N8 @ Nescafe Tarik @ Pelita by thenokiagallery, on Flickr This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Oct 31 2010, 10:23 PM |

I think size should not be taken into consideration when you wanna make image quality comparison. I still think DC has the edge over N8.

DC camera is no matter how better...or why do you they still produce dc for?

I still think DC has the edge over N8. of coz the DC have the edge lah in term of camera function because IT IS A CAMERA for god sake... the whole body can include multiple button control and the WHOLE chassis only contain CAMERA hardware... imagine what N8 have within it's chassis: 1. Phone RF HW... pentaband some more 2. GPS HW 3. Camera HW 4. Gaming HW 5. Radio HW 6. Wifi HW 7. Multimedia player HW 8. Caplang HW include BT/Compass/Accelerometer/..... |
