QUOTE(botakbin @ Oct 31 2010, 12:44 PM) If you lower the ISO, the brightness should remain same. The camera will still get the SAME exposure... to compensate for the lower ISO, the camera will lower the shutter speed to get the same exposure level. But lowering the shutter speed means it's easier to get blurry pic if your hand is shaky Anyway, lower the ISO to get better details/less noise, but hold the camera steady (I think it's not a problem though if there is enough ambient light) |

OK. 1st virgin N8's GPS testing & comparison wth Garmin MXT & latest Ovimaps
Garmin still having the 2 bugs i.e the maps scrolling hangkei & also the symbol key. Other than these, the routing & POIs and updated maps are much superior than ovimaps. Ovimaps latest maps also improving and i can see lotsa POIs added although not as many as malfreemaps. Certain new roads surrounding Puchong & even completed highways such as SKVE, LKSA are still not in ovimaps. Routing errors in ovimaps still bad..suggested odd routing esp Puchong & Garmin still giving accurate routing (Puchong)..not sure about earlier reports on bad routing ~ KL using garmin Added on October 31, 2010, 1:34 pmBTW, on ovimaps, abit dissapointed when i tried DL the korea maps and found out ovimaps dun hv any South korea maps..sigh... Now searching for Garmin Korea maps This post has been edited by stimix: Oct 31 2010, 01:34 PM |

Camera lor...expecting the best camera so that no need to bring my Canon 300HS anymore...but honestly after comparing Vivaz camera quality & the functinality, the diff between both not much and what I'm expecting from N8 to be as good as Canon 300hs during nite shooting is a big dissapointment

QUOTE(stanley85 @ Oct 31 2010, 01:51 PM) It will be different, but yes, maybe not a lot... no need to worry especially in bright outdoors location.. the N8 does not display the shutter speed and ISO number so I woudn't know the exact changes. Anyway, changing ISO will not affect the picture brightness. |
