pizzaboy: you mean Mr. Brightside by The Killers? hmm...the drum parts at the intro and 1st verse sound like a normal beat with 16s on the HH...

I'm afraid those metal drummers is not playing the drums, but damaging the drums and cymbal...

f = forte (loud) how can u say these metal drummers are 'not playing the drums'. yes they do play really loud, but whats wrong with that? that doesnt mean they are not playing. many other drummers of other genres play loud too and damage their drums so often (u should see pics of broken double bass pedals, cymbals etc) but that doesnt mean they dont play. are u a drummer? tried playing some really fast metal songs with double bass? that requires skill.

hey! how can you guys miss out Neil Peart? Longineu parsons is awesome too! He's accurate as hell!
and ddude, hey they play alright. Just they play extremely fast. If you play fast, you'll notice you'll play harder If you make it softer, you'll usually play slower (need practice to maintain sound/speed) but just listen to drummers like Travis barker and Joey Jordison. They drum faster than you can blink, but they can still control their sound. Example, "Down" blink 182
